Abstract

A reel including a columnar wind-up unit 3 and a pair of opposing side plates 2 and 2 provided such that the wind-up unit is between the side plates, wherein the inner surface of at least one side plate 2 is provided with a projection 21.

         12 . A tape roll, comprising:
 (a) two side plates each having an inner surface;   (b) a columnar wind-up unit disposed between the two side plates, wherein the side plates and the columnar wind-up unit together form a tape reel;   (c) an adhesive tape, having an adhesive layer, wound on the columnar wind-up unit, thereby forming a tape roll; and   (d) a projection disposed on one or both of the inner surfaces and extending in a radial direction to thereby prevent the adhesive tape from sticking to the tape reel when the tape is unwound.   
     
     
         13 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the projection extends continuously in the radial direction. 
     
     
         14 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the projection extends intermittently in the radial direction. 
     
     
         15 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the adhesive tape is obtained by cutting into a narrow tape an anisotropic conductive film obtained by incorporating conductive particles into an adhesive layer formed on a substrate. 
     
     
         16 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the projection is provided radially. 
     
     
         17 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the height of the projection is 0.05 to 1.00 mm. 
     
     
         18 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the width of the projection is 0.5 to 20.0 mm. 
     
     
         19 . The tape roll according to  claim 12 , wherein the tape reel is provided with a peripheral projection along the periphery on the inner surface of one or both of the side plates. 
     
     
         20 . The tape roll according to  claim 19 , wherein at least part of the peripheral projection which is in contact with the adhesive tape has a circular shape when the adhesive tape is wound while guiding the side surface of the object by the periphery of the side plates. 
     
     
         21 . The tape roll according to  claim 19 , wherein the height of the peripheral projection is 0.05 to 1.00 mm. 
     
     
         22 . The tape roll according to  claim 19 , wherein the width of the peripheral projection is 0.5 to 20.0 mm.
