Method and apparatus for information exchange over a web based environment
Abstract
With the ever increasing size and the explorative growth of digital document and content, the traditional electronic information exchanging tool such as email and instant message, web-meeting etc. can not fully satisfy massive user's needs. With the development of central controlled distributed scalable virtual machine (CCDSVM) and the web-based computer user working (operating) environment (WCUWE), the problems mentioned above can be easily solved by introduce a common “dynamic work space” technology of this invention within frame work of CCDSVM and WCUWE. With “dynamic work space” technology, user can use conventional browser to instantly post or un-post messages, digital documents or contents or said resources without install specialized software, without size limitation, with security, and further to obtain capability of anywhere and anytime peer-to-peer exchanging information within organized user-group or in one-to-one fashion. In addition, WCUWE of CCDSVM provides each user a private work space and each group a common work space under the dynamic work space umbrella, therefore, WCUWE provide users of CCDSVM a safe secure infrastructure hierarchy for users or group of users to efficiently manage, sharing, and access the right information in time anywhere on the network.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A computer system supporting dynamic creating and updating contents for a web portal, which comprises
at least a network interface device and workspace memories; the computer system
connects one or more networked systems across a communication network,
provides web services and web based user interfaces (“UI”) that includes
hosting a web portal for accessing by a plurality of public users,
facilitating each of one or more operators from a web browser on the operator's local system via web UI to dynamically create and update contents of the web portal;
wherein the computer system
assigns workspaces to each operator,
facilitates each operator via displayed workspace in web UI instantly creating and updating the contents for the web portal which includes
performing posting operation to instantly post one information at a time into a targeted web page of the web portal via a targeted location, and
performing withdrawing operation to instantly delete one previously posted information at a time from a targeted web page of the web portal via the targeted location, and
generates an updated targeted web page which includes the posted information in the targeted location in response to each of the plurality of public users to access the contents of the web portal, and
updates web UI for each operator via updated web page which includes information in the user's workspace and in the targeted location in response to the operator's each action for accessing the computer system.
2 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said assigning workspace to each operator further comprises:
creating each operator an account, assigning each operator a private workspace, which to be initialized with one or more resource information, to be loaded into memory and encoded into web UI and displayed into user's web browser via web pages in response to the user accessing the computer system.
3 . The computer system of claim 2 , wherein said targeted location further comprises:
creating a group, assigning each operator into the group, and assigning a group workspace as the targeted location for each operator accessing, wherein the group workspace is loaded into memory, encoded into web UI, and displayed into operator's web browser via web pages in response to the user updating the web portal.
4 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said workspace further comprises:
dividing each workspace with multiple sections, wherein each section is designated to store a specific type of resource information, and said sections include message section, file and file-folder section, and hardware resource section.
5 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user manually type a information in a text input area in the web UI to input a information for posting or withdrawing.
6 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user select a resource node from a web folder tree in the web UI to input a information for posting or withdrawing, wherein each node of the web folder tree bound with a operating menu including operating options of posting and withdrawing.
7 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user select a resource information via displayed workspace in the web UI to input a information for posting or withdrawing.
8 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user to input a file targeting a web page of the web portal to perform said posting or withdrawing operation.
9 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user to input a file folder targeting a web page of the web portal to perform said posting or withdrawing operation.
10 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user to input a message targeting a web page of the web portal to perform said posting or withdrawing operation.
11 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
facilitating the user to input a hardware information targeting a web page of the web portal to perform said posting or withdrawing operation.
12 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting information further comprises:
depositing an inputted information from the user's a specific section in the private workspace into a corresponding specific section of the targeted location with memory speed in response to the posting operation.
13 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said withdrawing information further comprises:
finding and deleting an information with memory speed from a corresponding specific section of the targeted location that matches the user's inputted information in response to the withdrawing operation.
14 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said posting and withdrawing information further comprises:
depositing non-message type of a posted resource information without actually copying or moving the actual physical resource into the targeted location in response to post operation, and deleting non-message type of resource information in the targeted location without removing or deleting the actual physical resource in response to withdraw operation.
15 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said withdrawing information further comprises:
deploying lock protection over the targeted location for each said depositing and withdrawing operation.
16 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said generates an updated web page further comprises:
loading run-time script into each web browser on each public user's local system to allow the web browser automatically and periodically retrieving the updated targeted web page including the updated information in said targeted location.
17 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said computer system further comprises
a control management organizing the resources on the computer system and from the network, controlling the user space operation for the computer system; and a web server operatively coupled to the control management providing web services and user interfaces (“UI”) which includes
hosting the web portal,
creating private and group workspace,
displaying workspace via web UI including displaying information in web folder tree, and
receiving, executing, and responding to one or more requests submitted from each web browser.
18 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein said operator's local system further comprises:
facilitating each operator from a web browser on the computer system or on a remote system across world wide web to create and update said web contents for said web portal.
19 . The computer system of claim 1 further comprises:
said computer system is one of a wireless personal communication device, laptop system, desktop system or a server system.
20 . The computer system of claim 1 , wherein the control system further comprises:
configuring the computer system communicating to each networked system across the communicating network, and collecting resource information from each networked systems.
21 . The computer system of claim 20 further comprises:
organizing and displaying information of said networked systems into the operator's web browser via web UI, and
