Abstract
Provided are methods and compositions for detecting and treating normal, hypoplastic, ectopic or remnant tissue, organ or cells in a mammal. The method comprises parenterally injecting a mammalian subject, at a locus and by a route providing access to said tissue or organ, with an composition comprising antibody/fragment which specifically binds to targeted organ, tissue or cell. The antibody/fragment may be administered alone, or labeled or conjugated with an imaging, therapeutic, cytoprotective or activating agent.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of ablating a targeted non-malignant B cell, comprising:
administering to a human subject having an immune disease an unconjugated monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment which binds to a marker that is specific for a B cell, wherein the monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment binds specifically to the marker on the B cell, thereby ablating the targeted non-malignant B cell to treat an immune disease associated with the targeted non-malignant B cell.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment binds to a marker that is specific for a normal B cell.
3 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the targeted non-malignant B cells are ectopic normal B cells.
4 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the unconjugated monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment is directed against normal and malignant B-cells.
5 . A method of ablating a targeted non-malignant B cell, consisting of:
administering to a human subject an unconjugated monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment which binds to a marker that is specific for a B-cell, wherein the monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment binds specifically to the marker on the B cell, thereby ablating the targeted non-malignant B cell to treat an immune disease associated with the targeted non-malignant B cell.
6 . A method of ablating a targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell, comprising:
administering to a human subject an unconjugated monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment which binds to a marker that is specific for a B cell, wherein the monoclonal antibody or antibody fragment binds specifically to the marker on the B cell, thereby ablating the targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell and treating a disease associated with the targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell.
7 . A method according to claim 6 , wherein the disease is an immune disease.
8 . A method of ablating a targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell, comprising:
administering to a human subject having an immune disease an unconjugated monoclonal antibody which binds to a marker that is specific for a B cell, wherein the monoclonal antibody binds specifically to the marker on the B cell, and ablating the targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell, and treating an immune disease associated with the targeted ectopic non-malignant B cell.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
