Abstract
The invention relates to a solar cell structure ( 10 ) having at least one transparent photovoltaic cell ( 42 ), in particular having a dye solar cell or a thin-film semiconductor cell. It comprises at least one polymer layer ( 36 ) which is provided with a fluorescent material, or a mixture of a plurality of fluorescent materials, and covers the at least one transparent photovoltaic cell ( 42 ).

20 . A solar cell structure having at least one transparent photovoltaic cell, wherein said transparent photovoltaic cell is a dye solar cell or a thin-film semiconductor cell, that comprises at least one polymer layer which is doped with a fluorescent material or a plurality of fluorescent materials and covers at least a transparent photovoltaic cell.
21 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the one fluorescent material or the mixture of a plurality of fluorescent materials comprises at least one organic fluorescent dye.
22 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the one fluorescent material or the mixture of a plurality of fluorescent materials comprises at least one inorganic phosphorescent emitter.
23 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the one fluorescent material comprises at least one quantum dot.
24 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the at least one polymer layer is made from a material selected from the following list: polyacrylate, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polylauryl methacrylate (PLMA) or polymers.
25 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the at least one polymer plate is made from polycarbonate.
26 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the preferably transparently designed at least one photovoltaic cell constitutes a dye solar cell according to the Gratzel type.
27 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the at least one transparently configured photovoltaic cell is designed as a thin-film semiconductor cell.
28 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the at least one transparently designed photovoltaic cell is an organic solar cell.
29 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the fluorescent materials are introduced into the at least one polymer plate with a concentration of from 1 ppm to 500 ppm.
30 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 29 , wherein the fluorescent materials are introduced into the at least one polymer layer with a concentration of between 20 ppm and 200 ppm.
31 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein a mirror surface is arranged below a polymer layer.
32 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein a bandpass filter is arranged on an illumination side of the solar cell structure, on a first side of a first polymer layer provided with a first fluorescent material.

The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the solar cell structure is designed essentially as a layer structure in which at least one photovoltaic cell is arranged between a first polymer plate doped with fluorescent materials and a further, second polymer plate likewise provided with fluorescent materials.
34 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the solar cell structure designed as a layer structure has a first mirrored edge, a second mirrored edge, a likewise mirrored front edge and a likewise mirrored rear edge.
35 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials comprise perylene, or other photostable dyes, which have a high quantum efficiency.
36 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials comprise at least one phosphorescent inorganic rare-earth compound.
37 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein the concentration of the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials is adjusted so that the transmission over the layer thickness of the at least two polymer plates is less than 10% over as wide a spectral range as possible.
38 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 20 , wherein one or more functional layers of the transparent photovoltaic cell, for example n, p conductors, are doped with fluorescent molecules or nanoparticles.
39 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials comprise perylenes or other photostable dyes which have a high quantum efficiency.
40 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials comprise at least one phosphorescent inorganic rare-earth compound.
41 . The solar cell structure as claimed in claim 33 , wherein the concentration of the fluorescent material or plurality of fluorescent materials is adjusted so that the transmission over the layer thickness of the at least two polymer plates is less than 10% over as wide a spectral range as possible.
