Abstract

The present disclosure describes a method for increasing the speed in setting artificial teeth in full dentures or dental prostheses, the method comprising providing premade tooth segments, the premade tooth segments comprising at least one tooth that may be preset into a gingival roll manufactured with either the individual teeth connected together in the gingival roll or by a mid-tooth connection at the mesial and distal surfaces (the sides of a tooth) of each tooth in the segment; setting the premade tooth segments into a wax bite rim; fitting the wax bite rim to the patient's mandibular or maxillary arch; and curing the wax bite rim. Another aspect of the disclosure includes a method for individualizing the denture or dental prosthesis whereby the incisors can be manipulated to create a personal and natural appearance.

Claims

providing premade tooth segments, the premade tooth segments having at least one tooth that may be present with a gingival roll; manufactured with either the individual teeth connected together in the gingival area by a gingival roll or by a mid-tooth connection at the mesial and distal surfaces (the sides of a tooth) of each tooth in the segment. setting the premade tooth segments into the wax rim; fitting the wax bite rim to the dental arch of a patient; and curing the wax bite rim.

. The method of claim 1 where the dental arch is a maxillary arch.

. The method of claim 1 where the dental arch is a mandibular arch.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is acrylic resin.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is wax.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is silicone.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is a adhesive.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is composite.

. The method of claim 1 where the gingival roll is a pinkish hue or a clear hue.

. A denture or dental prostheses prepared in accordance with the method of claim 1 .

. A method for creating dentures or dental prostheses and individualizing the dentures or dental prostheses to a patient, the method comprising:
providing premade tooth segments for the anterior teeth wherein the premade tooth segments include a first tooth segment having at least one tooth, a second tooth segment having at least one tooth, a third tooth segment having at least one tooth with a first gingival roll, a fourth tooth segment having at least one tooth with a second gingival roll; setting the premade tooth segments into a wax rim; inserting artificial teeth into posterior positions of the wax bite rim; individualizing the denture by manipulating the first, second, third, and fourth tooth segments appropriately to give the denture a unique and natural appearance; fitting the wax bite rim to the patient's dental arch; curing the wax bite rim.

. The method of claim 11 where the dental arch is a maxillary arch.

. The method of claim 11 where the dental arch is a mandibular arch.

. The method of claim 11 where the gingival roll is acrylic resin.

. The method of claim 11 where the gingival roll is wax.

. The method of claim 11 where the gingival roll is silicone.

. The method of claim 11 wherein the gingival roll is adhesive.

. The method of claim 11 where the gingival roll is composite.

. The method of claim 11 where the gingival roll is a pinkish hue or a clear hue.

. The method of claim 11 wherein the first tooth segment is comprised of the right-side incisors.

. The method of claim 11 wherein the second tooth segment is comprised of the left-side incisors.

. The method of claim 11 wherein the third tooth segment is comprised of the right-side canine.

. The method of claim 11 wherein the fourth tooth segment is comprised of the left-side canine.

. A denture or dental prosthesis prepared in accordance with the method of claim 11 .

. A method for setting dentures or dental prostheses and individualizing a denture or dental prosthesis to a patient, the method comprising:
