Abstract

A safety support for a curtain comprises a supporting base having a receiving unit set at one side of the supporting base, and a supporting plate coupling to one side of the supporting base, wherein the supporting plate comprises a connecting unit which is coupled to the receiving unit of the supporting base, and an aperture. The safety support is constructed in such that when the external force exerted on the safety support of the curtain exceeds a pre-determined safety weight setting, the connecting unit of the supporting plate will disconnect immediately from the receiving unit of the supporting base so that the curtain will be detached from the supporting plate of the safety support so that the child is protected from suspension from the curtain.
