Abstract
Apparatuses, compositions and methods for removing cells which interfere with regenerative processes. The apparatuses, compositions and methods selectively kill partially functional and/or non-functional cells versus functional cells while protecting functional proliferative cells to the extent that, upon removal of the killed cells by disintegration or scavenging, functional cells replace the partially- or non-functional cells.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for promoting regenerative processes in a subject comprising the steps of:
(a) selecting a technique for differentially killing cells based inversely on a degree of functionality of the cells and directly on preferential effect on non-proliferating cells in the subject; and (b) applying said technique to increase the proportion of cells possessing the degree of functionality.
2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein said differentially killing cells comprises applying ultrasound to the cells.
3 . The method according to claim 1 wherein said selecting step comprises the step of choosing dosage levels of an anti-glycation end-product antibody.
4 . The method according to claim 1 wherein the method further comprises the step of monitoring inflammatory responses.

The method according to claim 1 wherein said selecting step comprises the step of selecting from the group consisting essentially of ultrasound and other oscillatory methods for disrupting cell membranes or structures leading to cell death, EMF, high intensity light, radio waves microwaves, lasers, magnetism and ionizing radiation, chemical toxins, antibodies against partially-functional or non-functional cells, antibody-toxin conjugates and natural killer cells modified to express target-specific antibodies.
6 . A composition for use in a method promoting regenerative processes, said composition characterized by differentially killing cells based on an inverse relationship to the degree of functionality of the cells while protecting functional proliferative cells.
7 . The composition according to claim 6 wherein said composition comprises an anti-glycation end-product antibody.
8 . Apparatus for use in a method promoting regenerative processes, said apparatus being characterized by differentially killing cells based on the degree of functionality of the cells while protecting functional proliferative cells.
