. A stroller for transporting an infant selectively in a standing, seated, and lying down position, comprising:
an outer frame subassembly comprising a set of diagonal braces, front and rear rotating wheel sets supporting the set of diagonal braces, a stroller handle extending upwardly in relation to the set of diagonal braces, and a generally U-shaped handrail having a pair of parallel side rails connected by a front rail, said side rails being secured to upper ends of the diagonal braces and the stroller handle; and an inner frame subassembly secured inside the outer frame subassembly and supporting a seat and a floor member mounted below the seat, said inner frame assembly comprising a pair of spaced-apart lateral rods secured to extend in parallel relationship to each other and to the side rails along substantially entire length of the side rails, a first end of each of said pair of lateral rods being secured to a seat back rod at a location below the side rails, a second end of each of said pair of lateral rods being connected by a cross rod mounted forward of the seat and below the front rail.

. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the set of diagonal braces comprises a pair of opposing rear diagonal braces and a pair of opposing front diagonal braces.

. The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the stroller handle comprises a generally U-shaped member having a pair of elongate bars and a cross bar connecting the pair of elongate handle bars, and wherein free ends of the handle bars are securely attached to the rear diagonal braces.

. The apparatus of claim 2 , further comprising a canopy secured to the handle bars above the handrail for shading the infant.

. The apparatus of claim 4 , wherein said canopy comprises a set of elongate struts secured together to form a rectangular canopy frame, the set of elongate struts comprising a pair of side struts, each side strut having a downwardly depending strut extension attached to a respective handle bar.

. The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein said set of elongate struts further comprises a cross strut extending between the handle bars adjacent a top portion of the stroller handle.

. The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein a canopy cover is stretched between the elongate struts and the cross strut.

. (canceled)

. (canceled)

. The apparatus of claim 1 8 , wherein said seat has a back and a seat base with a forward edge, and wherein a standing area is defined between the front rail and the forward edge of the seat base, said standing area being sized and configured to accommodate an infant standing in the stroller.

. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the front wheel sets are swivel wheel sets.

. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said outer frame subassembly and inner frame subassembly are configured to collapse into a folded position.

. A stroller for transporting an infant selectively in a standing, seated, and lying down position, comprising:
an outer frame subassembly comprising a set of diagonal braces, swivel front wheel sets, rear rotating wheel sets connected by a common axle for rotation in unison, a stroller handle extending upwardly in relation to the set of diagonal braces, and a handrail secured to upper ends of the diagonal braces and to the stroller handle, said handrail comprising a pair of side rails connected by a front rail; and an inner frame subassembly secured inside the outer frame subassembly and supporting a seat and a floor member mounted below the seat, said inner frame subassembly comprising a pair of spaced-apart lateral rods secured to extend in parallel relationship to each other and inwardly of said diagonal braces, a first end of each of said pair of lateral rods being secured to a seat back rod at a location below the handrail, a second end of each of said pair of lateral rods being secured to a cross rod positioned forward of the seat and below the front rail.

. (canceled)
