Abstract

An organic electroluminescent display panel comprises a substrate, an anti-reflective layer, a light-shielding layer, a transistor and an organic light emitting diode. The substrate has an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface. The anti-reflective layer is disposed above the upper surface of the substrate. The light-shielding layer is disposed directly above the anti-reflective layer and has an aperture to expose at least part of the anti-reflective layer. The transistor is disposed on the light-shielding layer. The organic light emitting diode is connected to the transistor and disposed directly above the at least part of the anti-reflective layer which is exposed via the aperture.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An organic electroluminescent display panel, comprising:
a substrate having an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface; an anti-reflective layer disposed above the upper surface of the substrate; a light-shielding layer disposed directly above the anti-reflective layer and having an aperture to expose at least part of the anti-reflective layer; a thin film transistor disposed on the light-shielding layer; and an organic light emitting diode connected to the thin film transistor and disposed directly above the at least part of the anti-reflective layer which is exposed via the aperture.

2 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 1 , wherein the anti-reflective layer has a thickness less than about 3000 nm.

3 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 1 , wherein the anti-reflective layer includes at least one metal compound layer.

4 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 3 , wherein the metal compound layer is selected from the group consisting of metal oxide, metal nitride, metal sulfide, and combinations thereof.

5 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 3 , wherein the anti-reflective layer includes a metallic element selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mo, Cu, Zn, In, Ti, Al and Ag.

6 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 1 , wherein the light-shielding layer comprises a metal layer.

7 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 1 , wherein the light-shielding layer and the anti-reflective layer both include metallic elements belonging to the same group in the periodic table of the chemical elements.

8 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 7 , wherein the light-shielding layer includes a metallic element selected from the group consisting of Cr, Mo, Cu, Zn, In, Ti, Al and Ag.

9 . The organic electroluminescent display panel of claim 1 , wherein the anti-reflective layer includes a plurality of sub-layers which have a total thickness that is odd multiples of ¼ wavelength of visible light.
