Abstract

The disclosure aims at improving the strength of a bag for the packing of products such as moist towelettes. For this purpose, the invention provides to add an upper gusset linking the front and back faces of the packing back and to make integral the flap with such upper gusset through an opening provided on the front face of the packing bag. According to one exemplary embodiment, the packing bag having the general shape of an envelope, more particularly including a back face and a front face, the front face being provided with a dispensing opening which can be closed by a flap, the upper edges of the back and front faces being sealed on the internal layer of an upper gusset, said upper gusset, the flap and the front face being integral. Besides, the upper edge of the front face has at least one cut through which at least a part of the internal layer of the upper edge of the flap is sealed on a part of the internal layer of the upper gusset.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A packing bag comprising a general shape of an envelope including a back face and a front face, the front face being provided with a dispensing opening which can be closed by a flap, the upper edges of the back and front faces being sealed on the internal layer of an upper gusset, the upper gusset, the flap and the front face being integral, and the upper edge of the front face having at least one cut through which at least a part of the internal layer of the upper edge of the flap is sealed on a part of the internal layer of the upper gusset.

2 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the part of the internal layer of the upper edge of the flap intended to be sealed is coated with a sealing varnish.

3 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the part of the internal layer of the upper edge of the flap intended to be sealed is free of any adhesive means.

4 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the cut of the front face is continuous.

5 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the cut of the front face substantially represents three quarters of the width of the packing bag.

6 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the flap has two pre-cuts originating from the upper edge of the flap which define together a central area of the flap, and wherein the spacing between the pre-cuts substantially represents half the length of the sealing area of the flap, between two thirds and three fifths of the length of such sealing area.

7 . A packing bag according to claim 6 , wherein the pre-cuts are positioned on either side of the dispensing opening when the flap is stuck on the front face.

8 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the flap has at least an adhesive rim provided with an adhesive coating which makes it able to be peeled off and to be stuck back several times.

9 . A packing bag according to claim 1 , wherein the upper gusset and the upper edges of the flap and the front and back faces are gone through by a European hole.
