Abstract

Disclosed herein are methods and apparatuses for requesting and obtaining data, in which time information is generated by use of a first device, and a data request command requesting data output by a second device is generated at a time point indicated by the time information. The generated data request command is transmitted, wherein the data request command includes the time information.

1 . A data requesting method performed in a first device, the method comprising:
 generating time information at the first device;   generating a data request command requesting data output by a second device, at a time point indicated by the time information; and   transmitting the generated data request command,   wherein the data request command includes the time information.   
     
     
         2 . The data requesting method of  claim 1 , further comprising forming an image of the second device by using an image pickup unit included in the first device,
 wherein the time information indicates a time when the second device is photographed.   
     
     
         3 . The data requesting method of  claim 2 , wherein the generating a data request command comprises:
 determining an operation mode of the first device; and   generating the data request command when the operation mode is a capture mode.   
     
     
         4 . The data requesting method of  claim 3 , wherein the determining comprises:
 determining whether the photographed second device includes an output unit; and   determining the operation mode to be a capture mode when the second device includes an output unit.   
     
     
         5 . The data requesting method of  claim 2 , wherein the data request command further comprises image data of the second device photographed by using the image pickup unit. 
     
     
         6 . The data requesting method of  claim 2 , wherein the data request command further comprises information of a third device to which the requested data is to be transmitted. 
     
     
         7 . The data requesting method of  claim 1 , further comprising receiving pieces of data output by the second device within a period of time from the time point indicated by the time information. 
     
     
         8 . A data obtaining method performed in a second device, the method comprising:
 outputting data;   receiving a data request command including time information, from a first device; and   obtaining the data output by the second device at a time point indicated by the time information based on the time information.   
     
     
         9 . The data obtaining method of  claim 8 , wherein the data request command is generated when an image pickup unit included in the first device forms an image of the second device. 
     
     
         10 . The data obtaining method of  claim 9 , wherein the data request command further comprises image data of the second device formed by using the image pickup unit. 
     
     
         11 . The data obtaining method of  claim 10 , further comprising storing the output data, and
 wherein the obtaining step further comprises searching for the stored data based on the time information.   
     
     
         12 . The data obtaining method of  claim 11 , wherein the searching step further comprises searching for the stored data based on the image data of the second device included in the data request command. 
     
     
         13 . The data obtaining method of  claim 8 , further comprising transmitting the obtained data to the third device,
 wherein the data request command further includes information about a third device to which the requested data is to be transmitted.   
     
     
         14 . The data obtaining method of  claim 8 , further comprising transmitting the obtained pieces of data to the first device,
 wherein the obtaining further includes obtaining a plurality of pieces of data output by using the second device within a period of time from the time point indicated by the time information.   
     
     
         15 . The data obtaining method of  claim 8 , wherein the obtaining step further comprises:
 requesting an external device for the requested data based on the time information; and   receiving the requested data from the external device.   
     
     
         16 . A data requesting apparatus, comprising:
 a time information generating unit for generating time information;   a request command generating unit for generating a data request command that requests data output by a second device at a time point indicated by the time information; and   a transmitter for transmitting the generated data request command,   wherein the data request command includes the time information.   
     
     
         17 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 16 , further comprising an image pickup unit that forms an image of the second device,
 wherein the time information indicates a time when the image pickup unit has formed an image of the second device.   
     
     
         18 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 17 , wherein the request command generating unit comprises:
 a mode determining unit for determining an operation mode of the data requesting apparatus; and   a generating unit for generating the data request command when the operation mode is a capture mode.   
     
     
         19 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 18 , wherein the mode determining unit determines whether the second device of which an image is formed by using the image pickup unit includes an output unit, and determines the operation mode to be a capture mode when the second device includes an output unit. 
     
     
         20 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 17 , wherein the data request command further comprises image data of the second device of which an image is formed by using the image pickup unit. 
     
     
         21 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 17 , wherein the data request command further comprises information about a third device to which the requested data is to be transmitted. 
     
     
         22 . The data requesting apparatus of  claim 16 , further comprising a receiver that receives a plurality of pieces of data output by the second device within a period of time from the time point indicated by the time information. 
     
     
         23 . A data obtaining apparatus, comprising:
 an output unit for outputting data;   a receiver for receiving a data request command including time information from a first device; and   an obtaining unit for obtaining data output by the output unit at a time point indicated by the time information.   
     
     
         24 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 23 , wherein the data request command is generated when an image pickup unit included in the first devices forms an image of the second device. 
     
     
         25 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 24 , wherein the data request command further comprises image data of the data obtaining apparatus of which an image is formed by using the image pickup unit. 
     
     
         26 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 25 , further comprising a storage unit in which the output data is stored,
 wherein the obtaining unit comprises a search unit for searching for the stored data.   
     
     
         27 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 26 , wherein the search unit further searches for the stored data based on image data of the data obtaining apparatus included in the data request command. 
     
     
         28 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 23 , wherein the data request command further comprises information about a third device to which the requested data is to be transmitted, and
 the data obtaining apparatus further comprises a transmitter for transmitting the obtained data to the third device.   
     
     
         29 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 23 , wherein the obtaining unit obtains pieces of data output by the output unit within a period of time from a time point indicated by the time information, and
 the data obtaining apparatus further comprises a transmitter for transmitting the obtained pieces of data to the first device.   
     
     
         30 . The data obtaining apparatus of  claim 23 , wherein the obtaining unit comprises:
 a requesting unit for requesting an external device for the requested data based on the time information; and   a receiver for receiving the requested data from the external device.   
     
     
         31 . A computer readable recording medium having embodied thereon a program for executing the method of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         32 . A computer readable recording medium having embodied thereon a program for executing the method of  claim 8 .
