Display Rack for Supporting Containerized Plants
Abstract
A rack for supporting a plurality of containerized plants has at least one brace supported by and extending between a pair of longitudinally extending rails. The brace is moveable relative to the rails for adjusting the longitudinal position of the brace along the rails such that the brace is positioned to engage at least one of the containers of the containerized plants. In use, one of the containerized plants may be placed in a receiving area defined in part by the brace. The brace may be moved along the rails until the brace engages the container. Then the brace is secured to the rails to resist movement of the brace away from the container along the rails. Some embodiments of the rack are relatively easy to assemble and disassemble. The rack may also be modular to facilitate expansion of the rack to support additional plants.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A modular display system for supporting a plurality of containerized plants, each of the containerized plants comprising a container and a plant disposed at least in part within the container and extending outward therefrom, the display system comprising:
a first display rack comprising:
at least one first rail support for supporting the first display rack on a support surface;
at least two elongate first brace rails extending longitudinally of the first display rack and supported by the at least one first rail support in transversely spaced relationship with each other above the support surface; and
at least one first cross-brace extending transversely between and supported by the first brace rails at a longitudinal location along said first brace rails above the support surface, the at least one first cross-brace being configured to at least in part contact the container of a containerized plant to support said containerized plant in an upright orientation thereof; and
a second display rack comprising:
at least one second rail support for supporting the second display rack on the support surface;
at least two elongate second brace rails extending longitudinally of the second display rack and supported at least in part by the at least one second rail support in transversely spaced relationship with each other above the support surface; and
at least one second cross-brace extending transversely between and supported by the second brace rails at a longitudinal location along said second brace rails above the support surface, the second cross-brace being configured to at least in part contact a container of another containerized plant to support said another containerized plant in an upright orientation thereof;
said second display rack being releasably connectable to said first display rack in a longitudinally end-to-end relationship.

The display system set forth in claim 1 wherein the first display rack comprises at least two first rail supports in longitudinally spaced relationship with each other, the first brace rails being supported by the first rail supports, the second brace rails being supported in part by at least one of said first rail supports.
