Jumping toy top
Abstract
A toy top that can repeatedly jump on a curved playing surface to attack an opponent toy top from above. The jumping toy top includes a toy main body, a spinning shaft body having a spinning shaft, and a shaft body supporting portion disposed on the toy main body to support the spinning shaft body. A distal end of the spinning shaft has one side projecting downward more than another diametrically opposite side to configure a portion to contact a playing surface of a playing board. When the jumping toy top spins on a central axis of the toy main body, the contact portion revolves around the central axis of the toy main body in a circular orbit.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A jumping toy top that is played against an opponent toy top on a playing surface curved in an approximately concave-mirror-like shape of a playing board, comprising:
a toy main body; a spinning shaft body having a spinning shaft; and a shaft body supporting portion disposed on the toy main body to support the spinning shaft body, wherein the spinning shaft of the spinning shaft body has a distal end formed such that one side thereof protrudes downward more than the other side thereof diametrically opposite to the one side to configure a contact portion for coming in contact with the playing surface of the playing board; and the contact portion revolves around a central axis of the toy main body in a circular orbit when the jumping toy top spins on the central axis of the toy main body.
2 . The jumping toy top according to claim 1 , wherein the shaft body supporting portion includes a supporting member for removably supporting the spinning shaft body.
3 . The jumping toy top according to claim 2 , wherein the supporting member is arranged movably in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the toy main body relative to the toy main body so that a distance from the central axis of the toy main body to the contact portion can be changed.
4 . The jumping toy top according to claim 1 , wherein the contact portion is formed at the distal end of the spinning shaft by cutting a columnar part of the spinning shaft obliquely to a central axis thereof.
5 . The jumping toy top according to claim 2 , wherein the contact portion is formed at the distal end of the spinning shaft by cutting a columnar part of the spinning shaft obliquely to a central axis thereof.
6 . The jumping toy top according to claim 3 , wherein the contact portion is formed at the distal end of the spinning shaft by cutting a columnar part of the spinning shaft obliquely to a central axis thereof.
7 . The jumping toy top according to claim 1 , wherein the contact portion comprises a shaft piece formed on an outer periphery of a distal end surface of the spinning shaft to protrude downward.
8 . The jumping toy top according to claim 2 , wherein the contact portion comprises a shaft piece formed on an outer periphery of a distal end surface of the spinning shaft to protrude downward.
9 . The jumping toy top according to claim 3 , wherein the contact portion comprises a shaft piece formed on an outer periphery of a distal end surface of the spinning shaft to protrude downward.

The jumping toy top according to claim 2 , wherein the spinning shaft body and the supporting member include respective pairs of engaging portions formed point-symmetrically so that the spinning shaft body can be mounted on the supporting member through the pairs of engaging portions selectively in one of a first orientation and a second orientation obtained by a rotation of 180 degrees from the first orientation.

The jumping toy top according to claim 3 , wherein the spinning shaft body and the supporting member include respective pairs of engaging portions formed point-symmetrically so that the spinning shaft body can be mounted on the supporting member through the pairs of engaging portions selectively in one of a first orientation and a second orientation obtained by a rotation of 180 degrees from the first orientation.
12 . The jumping toy top according to claim 3 , wherein the shaft body supporting portion includes a positioning plate for engaging the supporting member to hold the supporting member at a first position or a second position in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the toy main body.
13 . A toy top, comprising:
a main body; a contact portion body having a surface contact portion; and a shaft supporting portion disposed on the main body to support the contact portion body, wherein the contact portion has a distal end with one side thereof protruding more than another side; and the contact portion is spaced from a central axis of the main body and revolves around the central axis and in a circular orbit when the toy top spins on the central axis of the main body.
14 . The top according to claim 13 , wherein the supporting portion includes a supporting member for supporting the contact portion body.
15 . The top according to claim 14 , wherein the supporting member is movable in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the main body so that a distance from the central axis of the main body to the contact portion can be changed.
16 . The top according to claim 13 , wherein the contact portion is formed at a distal end of a spinning shaft, wherein a columnar part of the spinning shaft is cut obliquely relative to a central axis thereof.
17 . The top according to claim 13 , wherein the contact portion comprises a rounded projection on an outer periphery of a distal end surface of a shaft.
18 . The top according to claim 14 , wherein the contact portion body and the supporting member include at least one engaging portion so that the contact portion body can be mounted on the supporting member through the at least one engaging portion selectively in one of a first orientation and a second orientation rotated by 180 degrees from the first orientation.
19 . The top according to claim 13 , wherein the supporting portion includes a positioning plate to hold the supporting member at a first position or a second position in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the toy main body.
20 . A jumping toy, comprising:
a main body having a central axis; and a contact portion body having a surface contact portion; wherein the contact portion has a distal end with one side protruding more than another side, the contact portion can be moved from a first position at the central axis of the main body to a second position wherein the contact portion and the axis of the main body are spaced, and when the contact portion is in the second position, and the toy top spins on the central axis of the main body, the contact portion revolves around the central axis of the main body in a circular orbit.
21 . The top according to claim 20 , wherein the second position is a plurality of positions.
22 . The top according to claim 21 , wherein the contact portion can be moved by rotating the contact portion body relative to the main body.
23 . The toy according to claim 21 , wherein a movable support connects the main body and the contact portion, and the contact portion can be moved by moving the support in a plane perpendicular to the central axis.
24 . The top according to claim 21 , wherein the contact portion body is removably connected.
25 . The top according to claim 20 , wherein the contact portion is formed at a distal end of a spinning shaft, wherein a columnar part of the spinning shaft is cut obliquely relative to a central axis thereof.
26 . The top according to claim 20 , wherein the contact portion comprises a rounded projection on an outer periphery of a distal end surface of a shaft.
27 .
