Abstract

Variants of FVII or FVIIa comprising at least one amino acid modification in position 196, 237, or 341 relative to hFVII or hFVIIa. The variants exhibit an increased clotting activity, i.e. reduced clotting time, compared to rhFVIIa.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 68 . (canceled)

69 . A nucleotide encoding a variant of Factor VII (FVII) or Factor Vila (FVIIa), wherein said variant comprises 1-15 amino acid modifications within human Factor VII (hFVII) or human Factor Vila (hFVIIa) comprising SEQ ID NO:2, wherein at least one amino acid modification comprises a substitution D196K in SEQ ID NO:2.

70 . An expression vector comprising a nucleotide as defined in claim 69 .

71 . A host cell comprising an expression vector as defined in claim 70 .

72 . The host cell of claim 71 , wherein said host cell is a gamma-carboxylating cell capable of in vivo glycosylation.
