Detachable wig arrangement and method

Abstract

The present invention provides natural-appearing versatile wig arrangements including a base hair piece having a hair attachment portion including a front piece and hair strands attached to the hair attachment portion; and at least one upper front hair piece adapted to be attached and detached from the base hair piece thereby forming the wig arrangement, wherein the wig arrangement appears to be one piece.

1 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, comprising:
 a) a base hair piece comprising a hair attachment portion comprising a front piece and hair strands attached to the hair attachment portion; and   b) at least one upper front hair piece adapted to be attached and detached from the base hair piece thereby forming the wig arrangement, wherein the wig arrangement appears to be one piece.   
     
     
         2 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one upper front hair piece comprises at least two upper front hair pieces. 
     
     
         3 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, according to  claim 2 , wherein said at least two upper front hair pieces are adapted to be attached to the base hair piece interchangeably thereby each forming a wig arrangement of a different appearance. 
     
     
         4 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one upper front hair piece is selected from the group consisting of an upper hairpiece (bangs); an upper hair piece (pony); and an upper hair piece (fall). 
     
     
         5 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, according to  claim 3 , wherein the at least two upper front hair pieces are selected from the group consisting of an upper hairpiece (bangs); an upper hair piece (pony); and an upper hair piece (fall). 
     
     
         6 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 1 , wherein said hair attachment portion comprises:
 a) a front piece; and   b) a rear portion.   
     
     
         7 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 6 , wherein said front piece and rear portion comprise fastening elements adapted to engage matching fastening elements on the upper front hair piece. 
     
     
         8 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 7 , wherein said fastening elements are selected from the group consisting of snap-fit studs, hooks, eyes, Velcro™ and a zipper. 
     
     
         9 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 7 , wherein said hair attachment portion comprises at least one of: a skin top, an elastic portion, air vent holes, and an elastic netting. 
     
     
         10 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 7 , wherein said hair attachment portion comprises an upper panel and at least one lower panel attached together. 
     
     
         11 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 1 , wherein said at least one upper front hair piece comprises a skin top. 
     
     
         12 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 11 , wherein the skin top comprises two layers. 
     
     
         13 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 12 , wherein the two layers comprise:
 a) an upper layer; and   b) a lower layer.   
     
     
         14 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 13 , wherein the upper layer is a skin top. 
     
     
         15 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 14 , wherein the skin top comprises a silk or silk-like material and hairs attached to the skin top. 
     
     
         16 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 15 , wherein the lower layer is made out of a netted material. 
     
     
         17 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 11 , wherein the skin top comprises a front portion and a rear perimeter portion. 
     
     
         18 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement according to  claim 17 , wherein the skin top further comprises a front portion and a rear perimeter portion. 
     
     
         19 . A natural-appearing versatile wig arrangement, comprising:
 a) a base hair piece comprising a hair attachment portion comprising a front piece and hair strands attached to the hair attachment portion; and   b) at least two upper front hair pieces, each adapted to be attached and detached from the base hair piece thereby forming at least two wig arrangement of different appearance, wherein each wig arrangement appears to be one piece.   
     
     
         20 . A wig arrangement according to  claim 19 , wherein the at least two upper front hair pieces are interchangeable.
