Abstract

Aspects of the invention include providing a mixed-use training device that solves a number of problems with the prior art by providing for a dynamically adjustable height setting for weight bags and allowing for a greater radius of clearance and movement around the training device which allows the user the ability to perform a more diverse training regimen, without requiring the constant re-configuration of the training device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A training system comprising:
a base support beam; a first support member attached to a first end of the base support beam; a second support member attached to a second end of the base support beam opposite the first end of the base support beam; a main upright support member attached to the center of the base support beam, wherein the first and second support members are attached to the main upright support member; a bottom support member attached to the main upright support member, wherein the bottom support member extends at an angle away from the main upright support member and protrudes to a first distance out from the base support beam; a pulley attached to the main upright support member; a strap extending from the pulley through a roller guide assembly terminating at a strap connector, wherein the roller guide assembly is attached to a upper support member, wherein the upper support member is attached to the main upright support member and extends out further horizontally than the bottom support member; and wherein the strap connector is capable of attaching a weight training bag thereto.

2 . The training system of claim 1 further comprising a sleeve support member.

3 . The training system of claim 1 further comprising a rubber pad attached to the protruding end of the bottom support member.

4 . The training system of claim 1 further comprising a bottom connector support member connected to the bottom support member.

5 . The training system of claim 4 , wherein the distance the bottom connector support member extends from the bottom support member is adjustable.

6 . The training system of claim 2 , wherein the sleeve support member is internal to both the upper support member and the bottom support member.

7 . The training system of claim 1 , wherein the roller guide assembly comprises outwardly tapering ends.

8 . The training system of claim 5 , wherein the bottom connector support member terminates at a bottom connector.

9 . The training system of claim 8 , wherein the weight training bag is connected to both the strap connector and the bottom connector.

10 . The training system of claim 1 , further comprising locking members capable of securing the training system to a wall or floor.

11 . The training system of claim 1 , wherein the angle at which the bottom support member is attached to the main upright support member is adjustable.

12 . The training system of claim 1 , wherein the pulley is operable by a user to raise or lower the weight bag.
