Abstract
A protective cover for beverage cans, for assuring suitable hygiene conditions for drinking directly from the can, having a body, made with a suitably impermeable and sufficiently strong material, preferably transparent, with a cylindrical configuration open at its lower part and closed at its upper base, and with dimensions slightly larger than those of the can. The body covers the can at its upper part, where a ring pull is located, and laterally surrounds at least its upper half in a tight manner. The body has at least one tear means, such as a partially pre-die cut strip or any other similar known system, there optionally being at its end at least one flange which facilitates holding it.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A protective cover for beverage cans, applicable as a protective element, in order to assure the suitable hygiene conditions on the surface of the can to be able to drink directly from it, comprising:
a body, made of a substantially impermeable material, which adopts a cylindrical configuration open at is lower part and closed at its upper part and with dimensions slightly larger than those of the can, such that it covers the can at the upper part, and laterally surrounds at least its upper half in a tight manner, said body having at least one tear means.
2 . Protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , further comprising:
the lower part of the body forming the cover incorporates, at its inner face, a band with adhesive, which keeps said lower part of the body adhered to the side surface of the can, sealing off the spacen between the cover and the can.
3 . A protective cover for beverage cans applicable as a protective element in order to assure the suitable hygiene conditions on the surface of the can to be able to drink directly from it, comprising:
a body, made of a suitably impermeable and sufficiently strong material, which adopts a cylindrical configuration closed at its upper part and with dimensions slightly larger than those of the can, such that it covers the can at the upper part, and laterally surrounds at least its upper half in a tight manner, said body having at least one tear means, wherein the body covers the can completely.
4 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , wherein the body only covers the upper part of the can.
5 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , wherein the body material comprises a plastic.
6 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 5 , wherein the body material comprises cellophane.
7 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , wherein the body material in substantially transparent.
8 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , wherein the tear means comprises a die cut strip.
9 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 1 , wherein the tear means comprises at least one flange at its end configured and operative to facilitate holding the tear means.
10 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 3 , wherein the body material comprises a plastic.
11 . A protective cover for beverage cans according to claim 10 , wherein the body material comprises cellophane.
