Abstract

The present invention is directed towards method of making an animated flipbook by printing individual images captured from video footage on sheets of paper, with more than one image printed on each sheet of paper in a predetermined order. The sheets of paper are cut into rows of images, stacked chronologically, and cut into individual flipbook pages. The flipbook pages are stacked chronologically and bound together.

1 . A system for making a flipbook comprising:
 a computer;   a camera in electronic communication with said computer;   a printer in electronic communication with said computer;   wherein said computer runs a computer program that captures a series of images from said camera, wherein said individual images progress chronologically through a time interval from a first individual image to a last individual image, and instructs said printer to print said individual images on at least two sheets of paper in a predetermined order, wherein each said sheet of paper comprises at least 2 individual frames, with no more than one individual image printed inside each said individual frame, to produce at least two uncut sheets, wherein said predetermined order is determined by said computer program and allows said uncut sheets to be stacked to produce an uncut sheet lot having a top and a bottom, wherein the first individual image is on the top of the uncut sheet lot, and wherein each individual image is either on the top of the uncut sheet lot or directly beneath and adjacent to the individual image immediately preceding it chronologically;   a cutter that cuts said uncut sheets into rowcut sheets, and said rowcut sheets into said individual frames such that said individual frames can be stacked chronologically to make an individual frame lot; and   a binder that binds a portion of said individual frame lot to produce a flipbook.   
     
     
         2 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said computer program captures 60 individual images, and prints said images on five sheets of paper at twelve said individual images per said sheet of paper. 
     
     
         3 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said computer program captures 50 individual images, and prints said images on five sheets of paper at ten said individual images per said sheet of paper. 
     
     
         4 . The system of  claim 1  wherein said cutter is a business card slitter. 
     
     
         5 . The system of  claim 1  wherein the individual frames are rectangular in shape, having a first side length measuring about 2 inches and a second side length measuring about 3.5 inches.
