Abstract

The invention relates to a multimedia and multichannel information system comprising a central unit and a plurality of remote units equipped with display, connected to the central unit by means of a transmission network, system characterized in that it is provided with bi-directional data transmission means on said network, and in that said remote units are provided with at least an interface and with audio-video, data and graphs accelerators disposed on a multimedia microprocessor housed in each of said remote units.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 12 . (canceled)

13 . A multimedia and multichannel information system comprising:
a central unit; and a plurality of remote units equipped with displays, the plurality of remote units connected to the central unit by means of a transmission network, wherein the system is provided with bi-directional data transmission means on said network, and the plurality of remote units are provided with at least an interface and with audio-video, data and graphs accelerators disposed on a microprocessor housed in each of the plurality of remote units.

14 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the plurality of remote units have an input and output data interface on a cable network for an easy connection and repetition of a signal produced thereby in the cable network in series connection.

15 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein said bidirectional transmission means comprises a program suitable for transmitting from the central unit to the plurality of remote units at least one of the following: data signals, audio signals, video signals, graphic signals, or any combination thereof and to receive from the plurality of remote units to the central unit at least one of the following: data signals, audio signals, video signals, or any combination thereof.

16 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein said transmission network comprises a pair of cables which are usable for charging said remote units.

17 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the transmission network includes a pair of cables which are usable for charging a radio transmission network.

18 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the microprocessor housed in each of the plurality of remote units is provided with at least one of the following:
a support for an operating system with dedicated application software; an interface to the display; an external system memory SRAM, ROM; an output for USB-OTG high-speed; a dedicated input for a GPS module; an input for at least one of the following: memory stick Pro, MMC, or SD-card; an input for entering data or to perform one or more choices; one or more inputs/outputs for audio codec; an input for demodulating digital video; one or more input for a clock; or any combination thereof.

19 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein the microprocessor comprises an infrared high-speed port; and an interface for at least one of the following: external storage device; user cards; or any combination thereof.

20 . The system according to claim 17 , wherein each of the plurality of remote units includes a module comprising a transponder for communicating in digital mode and bi-directionally in broadband with the central unit.

21 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein each of the plurality of remote units is provided with audio connectors for headphones or speakers of different channels of simultaneous translation.

22 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the display of each of the plurality of remote units is provided with an optical filter that allows the correct view from an angle not perpendicular.

23 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein the display of each of the plurality of remote units is provided with an optical filter which can restrict the view on at least one of the following: the horizontal axis; vertical axis; or any combination thereof, to avoid unwanted vision of a screen to other adjacent spectators and/or to restrict the emission of flow from the backlight system of the same screen.

24 . The system according to claim 13 , wherein each of the plurality of remote units is provided with a light which can be activated by a user and to illuminate objects placed under the remote unit.
