. (canceled)
. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a disinfection system coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system, wherein the disinfection system is configured to eradicate at least a portion of the biological contaminants in the wastewater stream entering the disinfection system.
. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a solids treatment system coupled to the secondary treatment system, wherein the solids treatment system is configured to produce a biosolid from sludge entering the solids treatment system from the secondary treatment system.
. The system of claim 1 , further comprising a solids treatment system coupled to the disinfection system, wherein the solids treatment system is configured to produce a biosolid from sludge entering the solids treatment system from the disinfection system.
. The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a disinfection system coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system, wherein the disinfection system is configured to eradicate at least a portion of the biological contaminants in the wastewater stream entering the disinfection system; and a solids treatment system coupled to the secondary treatment system and/or the disinfection system, wherein the solids treatment system is configured to produce a biosolid from sludge entering the solids treatment system from the secondary treatment system and/or the disinfection system.
. The system of claim 11 , wherein an inlet of at least one additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system and wherein an outlet of the additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an inlet of the disinfection system.
. The system of claim 11 , wherein an inlet of at least one additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system and wherein an outlet of the additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an inlet of the solids treatment system.
. The system of claim 11 , wherein an inlet of at least one additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the disinfection system and wherein an outlet of the additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an inlet of the solids treatment system.
. The system of claim 11 , wherein an inlet of at least one additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the disinfection system and wherein an outlet of the additional fluid treatment system is coupled to a source of potable water.
. The system of claim 11 , wherein an inlet of at least one additional fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the solids treatment system and wherein an outlet of the additional fluid treatment system is coupled to a biosolid transport site.
- 25 . (canceled)
. A wastewater treatment system comprising:
a primary treatment system, wherein the primary treatment system is configured to remove at least a portion of solid material from a wastewater stream; a secondary treatment system coupled to an outlet of the primary treatment system, wherein the secondary treatment system is configured to remove at least a portion of the organic material in the wastewater stream entering the secondary treatment system; a disinfection system coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system, wherein the disinfection system is configured to eradicate at least a portion of the biological contaminants in the wastewater stream entering the disinfection system; and one or more fluid treatment systems, wherein an inlet of at least one of the fluid treatment system is coupled to an outlet of the secondary treatment system, wherein an outlet of the fluid treatment system is coupled to an inlet of the disinfection system, and wherein the fluid treatment systems comprises a first vortex nozzle unit and a second vortex nozzle unit positioned in substantially opposed relation to the first vortex nozzle unit so that a stream exiting the first vortex nozzle unit contacts a stream exiting the second vortex nozzle unit.
