Abstract
A nickel-base superalloy is provided which includes in a weight percentage:: Co+Fe+Mn 0-20, Al 4-6, Cr >12-20, Ta >7.5-15, Ti 0-<0.45, V 0-1, Nb 0-<0.28, Mo 0-2.5, Mo+W+Re+Rh 2-8, Ru+Os+Ir+Pt+Pd 0-4, Hf 0-1.5, C+B+Zr 0-0.5, Ca+Mg+Cu 0-0.5, Y+La+Sc+Ce+Actinides+Lanthanides 0-0.5 Si 0-0.5 Ni balance and unavoidable impurities. Also provided are a conventional cast component, a directionally solidified component and a single crystal component which include the superalloy.

50 . The nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein titanium is in the range, in a weight percentage, of 0-0.40.
51 . The nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein columbium is in the range, in a weight percentage, of 0-0.25.
52 . The nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein carbon is in the range, in a weight percentage, of 0-0.15.
53 . The nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein boron is in the range, in a weight percentage, of 0-0.02.
54 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein molybdenum is present in the alloy in the range, in a weight percentage 1.0 to 2.4.
55 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element hafnium is present in the alloy, in a weight percentage higher than 0.1.
56 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element cobalt is present in the alloy in the range, in a weight percentage, 2.0 to 4.0.
57 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element chromium is present in the alloy in the range, in a weight percentage, 14.0 to 18.0.
58 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element tungsten is present in the alloy in the range, in a weight percentage, 1.7 to 2.8.
59 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element aluminum is present in the alloy, in a weight percentage, equal to or higher than 4.5.
60 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element tantalum is present in the alloy in the range, in a weight percentage, 9.0 to 11.0.
61 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element zirconium is present in the alloy, in a weight percentage, equal to or higher than 0.02.
62 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element carbon is present in the alloy, in a weight percentage, equal to or higher than 0.06.
63 . A nickel-base superalloy as claimed in claim 49 , wherein the element boron is present in the alloy, in a weight percentage, equal to or higher than 0.01.
64 . A conventional cast component comprising a superalloy as claimed in claim 49 .
65 . A directionally solidified component comprising a superalloy as claimed in claim 49 .
66 . A single crystal component comprising a superalloy as claimed in claim 49 .
67 . A conventional cast or a single crystal component consisting of a superalloy which comprises in a weight percentage:
Co+Fe+Mn 0-20; Al 4-6, especially from 4.3 to 6; Cr >12-20; Ta >7.5-15; Ti 0-1.5; V 0-1; Ti+Nb+V 0-2; Mo 0-2.5; Mo+W+Re+Rh 2-8; Ru+Os+Ir+Pt+Pd 0-4; Hf 0-1.5; C+B+Zr 0-0.5; Ca+Mg+Cu 0-0.5; Y+La+Sc+Ce+Actinides+Lanthanides 0-0.5; Si 0-0.5; Ni balance; and unavoidable impurities.
68 . A gas turbine, comprising:
a component which includes at least one of the components selected from the group consisting of a conventional cast component, a directionally solidified component, and a single crystal component comprising:
a superalloy comprising:
Co+Fe+Mn 0-20;
Al 4-6, especially from 4.3 to 6;
Cr >12-20;
Ta >7.5-15;
Ti 0-<0.45;
V 0-1;
Nb 0-<0.28;
Mo 0-2.5;
Mo+W+Re+Rh 2-8;
Ru+Os+Ir+Pt+Pd 0-4;
Hf 0-1.5;
C+B+Zr 0-0.5;
Ca+Mg+Cu 0-0.5;
Y+La+Sc+Ce+
Actinides+Lanthanides 0-0.5;
Si 0-0.5;
