Abstract

CASB7439 polypeptides and polynucleotides, immunogenic compositions comprising them and methods for producing such polypeptides by recombinant techniques are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods for utilizing CASB7439 polypeptides and polynucleotides in diagnostics, and vaccines for prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of cancers, particularly colorectal, breast, and lung cancers, autoimmune diseases, and related conditions.

         6 . A method of inducing an immunoresponse to CASB7439 in a human or non-human animal comprising administering to the human or non-human animal an effective amount of a composition comprising an adjuvant and a protein comprising a polypeptide selected from the group consisting of:
 (a) a polypeptide having at least 95% sequence identity to the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:2; and   (b) a polypeptide fragment of SEQ ID NO:2.   
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 6 , wherein the polypeptide fragment comprises an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33.
