Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A wall support comprising:
a main portion; a first hook extending from the main portion; at least one extension extending from the main portion and including at least one opening; and a fastener having a first prong and a second prong extending through the at least one opening, wherein the extension extends on opposite outer sides of the first prong and the second prong.
2 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the at least one opening includes a first opening through which the first prong extends and a second opening through which the second prong extends.
3 . The wall support of claim 2 , wherein the at least one extension completely surrounds the first prong and the second prong.
4 . The device of claim 3 , wherein the main portion includes at least one passage through which the first prong and the second prong extend.
5 . The wall support of claim 4 , wherein the main portion extends adjacent the passage on opposite outer sides of the first prong and the second prong.
6 . The wall support of claim 5 , wherein the at least one passage comprises a single slot through which the first prong and the second prong extend.
7 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the at least one extension includes a first extension and a second extension spaced from the first extension.
8 . The wall support of claim 7 , wherein the first extension and the second extension are spaced so as to frictionally engage opposite sides of a portion of a coupling unit to assist in retaining the support relative to the coupling unit.
9 . The device of claim 1 including a second hook extending from the main portion, spaced from the first hook and facing in a common first direction with the first hook.
10 . The wall support of claim 9 including a third hook extending from the main portion, between the first hook and the second hook and facing in a second direction away from the first direction.
11 . The wall support of claim 10 , wherein the first hook and the second hook are configured to engage an underside of a wire and wherein the third hook is configured to engage a top side of the wire.
12 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the first prong has a diameter of no greater than 0.04 inches.
13 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the first prong and the second prong each have a length of no less than 0.8 inches.
14 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the first prong and the second prong are configured to extend at least 0.6 inches into the wall.
15 . The wall support of claim 1 , wherein the main portion, the first hook and the at least one extension are formed from stamped and deformed metal.
16 . A wall support comprising:
a hanger; and a fastener having a first prong and a second prong, the hanger having first edges engaging opposite outer sides of the first prong and the second prong and second edges spaced from the first edges by a gap and engaging inner sides of the first prong and the second prong.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
