Abstract

The present invention relates to a fitment for establishing a leak-tight fluid communication between a support having means for generating compressed gas, and at least one container containing an edible product that is to be connected to said support, characterized in that said fitment comprises: (i) at least one cylindrical, conical or frusto-conical orifice located on the container or on the support, said orifice having an ovoid cross-section and comprising at least one groove or protrusion disposed parallel the longitudinal axis of said orifice, (ii) a one-way valve to allow compressed air only in the way from said support to the container, (iii) at least one corresponding plug located on the support, or respectively on the container, for removably fitting said orifice in a leak-tight manner.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A dispensing device for the delivery of at least one edible product, comprising:
a support having means for generating compressed gas, at least one container containing the edible product, the container having walls comprising at least two layers such that when the container is connected to the support and the means are operated to generate compressed gas, the compressed gas fills the space between the layers so as to press the product out of the container, the dispensing device further comprises fitment means for establishing a fluid connection between the container and the support in a removable and leak-tight manner, the fitment means comprising: at least one orifice having a shape selected from the group consisting of cylindrical, conical and frusto-conical located on the container or on the support, the orifice having an ovoid cross-section and comprising at least one groove or protrusion disposed parallel the longitudinal axis of the orifice, a one-way valve to allow compressed air generated by the gas-compression means to flow only from the support to the container, and at least one corresponding plug located on the support, or respectively on the container, for removably fitting the orifice in a leak-tight manner.

2 . A fitment for establishing a leak-tight fluid communication between a support having means for generating compressed gas, and at least one container containing an edible product that is to be connected to the support, the fitment comprises:
at least one orifice having a shape selected from the group consisting of cylindrical, conical and frusto-conical located on the container or on the support, the orifice having an ovoid cross-section and comprising at least one groove or protrusion disposed parallel the longitudinal axis of said orifice, a one-way valve to allow compressed air generated by the gas-compression means to flow only from the support to the container, and at least one corresponding plug located on the support, or respectively on the container, for removably fitting the orifice in a leak-tight manner.

3 . A dispensing device, according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice comprises at least three grooves and respectively at least three protrusions.

4 . A dispensing device, according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice is located on the container bottom, and the plug is located onto the support.

5 . A dispensing device, according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice or the plug comprises at least one O-ring made of a sealing material, the O-ring being disposed inside the orifice, respectively around the plug, such that the space between the inner walls of the orifice and the outer walls of the plug is gas-tight when the plug is fully inserted into the orifice.

6 . A dispensing device according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice comprises at least three grooves, and respectively at least three protrusions.

7 . A dispensing device according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice is located on the container bottom, and the plug is located onto the support.

8 . A dispensing device according to claim 1 , wherein the orifice or the plug comprises at least one O-ring made of a sealing material, the O-ring being disposed inside the orifice, respectively around the plug, such that the space between the inner walls of the orifice and the outer walls of the plug is gas-tight when the plug is fully inserted into the orifice.

9 . A dispensing device for the delivery of at least one edible product, comprising:
a support that can generate compressed gas, at least one container containing the edible product, the container having walls having at least two layers such that when the container is connected to the support and compressed gas is generated, the compressed gas fills the space between the layers so as to press said product out of the container, the dispensing device comprises a fitment for establishing a fluid connection between the container and the support in a removable and leak-tight manner, the fitment comprising: at least one orifice, the orifice having an ovoid cross-section, at least one groove or protrusion disposed parallel the longitudinal axis of the orifice, a one-way valve to allow compressed air to flow only from the support to the container, and at least one corresponding plug located on the support, or respectively on the container, for removably fitting the orifice in a leak-tight manner.

10 . A fitment for establishing a leak-tight fluid communication between a support that comprises a device for generating compressed gas, and at least one container containing an edible product that is to be connected to the support, the fitment comprises:
at least one orifice having an ovoid cross-section and comprising at least one groove or protrusion disposed parallel the longitudinal axis of the orifice, a one-way valve to allow compressed air generated to flow only from the support to the container, and at least one corresponding plug located on the support, or respectively on the container, for removably fitting said orifice in a leak-tight manner.
