Floating Cement Terminal

Abstract

A floating cement terminal includes a floating pontoon, at least one ship docking station, a cement storage warehouse, a cement packing station, a bulk cement loading station and at least one vehicle ramp. The floating pontoon is retained adjacent a land mass. The at least one vehicle ramp allows vehicles access to the floating pontoon from a land mass. Each ship docking station includes at least one ship unloader. The ship unloader removes cement from a docked ship and transfers the cement to the cement storage warehouse. Cement in the cement storage warehouse is transferred to the cement packing station and the bulk cement loading station. The cement going into the cement packing station is loaded into bags. The cement going to the bulk cement loading station is transferred to a plurality of silos for loading into tanker trucks. Electrical power is preferably supplied from a self-contained power source.

1 . A floating cement terminal comprising:
 a floating pontoon being a platform for said floating cement terminal, said floating pontoon floating on a body of water, said floating pontoon being anchored adjacent a land mass;   at least one ship docking station including at least one ship unloader, each one of said at least one ship unloader removing cement from a ship;   a cement storage warehouse storing cement supplied from said at least one ship unloader; and   at least one station for loading cement into vehicles, said cement being transferred from said storage warehouse to said at least one station.   
     
     
         2 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 said at least one station being one of a cement packing station for placing cement into bags and a bulk cement loading station for loading bulk cement.   
     
     
         3 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 at least one vehicle ramp for providing access to said floating cement terminal from a land mass.   
     
     
         4 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 each one of said at least one ship unloader including a pivoting crane member mounted to a support base, said support base having a lateral motion through roller supports, said pivoting crane exacting cement from the ship through a vertical screw conveyor.   
     
     
         5 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 the cement from the at least one ship unloader is transferred to said cement storage warehouse through at least one bucket elevator.   
     
     
         6 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a cement packing station including at least one packing vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a cement packing machine, at least one filled bag lifting device for loading vehicles with bags of cement filled on said cement packing machine.   
     
     
         7 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a bulk cement loading station including at least one bulk vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a plurality of cement silos, a vehicle being loaded with cement from one of said plurality of silos.   
     
     
         8 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 said floating cement terminal being supplied with electrical power from at least one of a solar panel, turbine and windmill.   
     
     
         9 . A floating cement terminal comprising:
 a floating pontoon being a platform for said floating cement terminal, said floating pontoon floating on a body of water, said floating pontoon being anchored adjacent a land mass;   at least one ship docking station including at least one ship unloader, each one of said at least one ship unloader cement from a ship;   a cement storage warehouse storing cement supplied from said at least one ship unloader;   a cement packing station for placing cement into bags, said cement being transferred from said storage warehouse; and   a bulk cement loading station for loading cement into vehicles, said cement being transferred from said storage warehouse.   
     
     
         10 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 each one of said at least one ship unloader including a pivoting crane member mounted to a support base, said support base having a lateral motion through roller supports, said pivoting crane exacting cement from the ship through a vertical screw conveyor.   
     
     
         11 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 the cement from the at least one ship unloader is transferred to said cement storage warehouse through at least one bucket elevator.   
     
     
         12 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 said cement packing station including at least one packing vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a cement packing machine, at least one filled bag lifting device for loading vehicles with bags of cement filled on said cement packing machine.   
     
     
         13 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 9 , further comprising:
 said bulk cement loading station including at least one bulk vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a plurality of cement silos, a vehicle being loaded with cement from one of said plurality of silos.   
     
     
         14 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 8  wherein:
 said floating pontoon being held in place with a plurality of bollards.   
     
     
         15 . A floating cement terminal comprising:
 a floating pontoon being a platform for said floating cement terminal, said floating pontoon floating on a body of water;   at least one ship docking station including at least one ship unloader, each one of said at least one ship unloader cement from a ship;   a cement storage warehouse storing cement supplied from said at least one ship unloader;   a cement packing station for placing cement into bags, said cement being transferred from said storage warehouse;   a bulk cement loading station for loading cement into vehicles, said cement being transferred from said storage warehouse; and   at least one vehicle ramp for providing access to said floating cement terminal from a land mass.   
     
     
         16 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 said floating cement terminal being supplied with electrical power from at least one of a solar panel, turbine and windmill.   
     
     
         17 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 15 , further comprising:

         18 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 15 , further comprising:

 said cement packing station including at least one packing vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a cement packing machine, at least one filled bag lifting device for loading vehicles with bags of cement filled on said cement packing machine.   
     
     
         20 . The floating cement terminal of  claim 15 , further comprising:
 said bulk cement loading station including at least one bulk vertical elevator for transferring cement from said cement storage warehouse to a plurality of cement silos, a vehicle being loaded with cement from one of said plurality of silos.
