Archery crossbow assembly

Abstract

A cross bow assembly that combines the use of a peep sight as a rear sight and the quick range finder as a front sight to quickly ascertain the appropriate target and distance without the aid of other devices. The device alleviates the need to use a separate range finder to find distance because it is incorporated into the front sight giving instant, accurate distances when sighting, saving time and improving the hunter's ability to make precise accurate shots quickly.

1 . An archery crossbow assembly comprising in combination:
 a. a gunstock having a near end and a distal end, an archery bow mounted on the gunstock near the distal end thereof. a bow string mounted on the bow, a stop means for the bow string when the bow string is in a firing position;   b. a peepsight, said peepsight mounted on the gunstock and near the near end of the gunstock;   c. a front archery sight having a front surface. mounted on the distal end of the gunstock, and,   d. a trigger mechanism for releasing the bowstring.   
     
     
         2 . The archery crossbow assembly as claimed in  claim 1  wherein, in addition, there is a range finder mounted on the front surface of the front archery sight.
