Abstract
The present invention provides a polypeptide inducing the production of an antibody in permucosal administration in the presence of no immunological adjuvant, a composition containing the polypeptide, and use thereof. The present invention solves the above object by providing a polypeptide inserted with a cell attachment motif of a cell adhesive molecule to the peptide which has an amino acid sequence of multiagretope type T cell epitope at the amino terminal side of an inserted linker peptide, and an amino acid sequence of a B cell epitope at the carboxyl terminal side of the inserted linker peptide, a composition containing the polypeptide, and use thereof.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for enhancing antigenicity of a B cell epitope, comprising:
in a polypeptide having antigenicities of the following T cell epitope (i) and B cell epitope (ii), which has been artificially constructed by binding the T cell epitope and the B cell epitope in this order from the N-terminus of the polypeptide, allowing a linker peptide comprising lysine-lysine to insert between the T cell epitope and the B cell epitope; and allowing a cell attachment motif of a cell adhesive molecule having an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:8 to bind to N- or C-terminus of the T cell epitope; (i) being a multiagretope type which is restricted by major histocompatibility antigen (MHC) class II haplotypes; and (ii) being derived from a bacterial protein, virus protein, allergen, toxin, or ovalbumin.

The method of claim 1 , wherein said B cell epitope is derived from a surface protein antigen of a Streptococcus mutans serotype C strain, HIV protein, influenza protein, papilloma virus protein, ovalbumin, amyloid β-peptide, or Japanese cedar pollen allergen.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
