Process for preparing recombinant heterocarpine

Abstract

A process for preparing recombinant heterocarpine with the complete sequence of heterocarpine (SEQ. ID. NO. 10), expression vectors comprising a polynucleotide encoding for heterocarpine, host cells transformed or transfected by said expression vectors as well as a process for obtaining heterocarpine by means of said transformed or transfected host cells are described wherein the recombinant heterocarpine obtained is used to treat cancer.

         21 . A method of treating a proliferative disease in a warm-blooded animal comprising administrating to a warm-blooded animal in need thereof, an amount of polypeptide of  claim 7  sufficient to treat said disease.
