Dispensing vessel for clothes dryer

Abstract

A dispensing vessel for introducing moisture to a clothes drying environment includes a core and a cover substantially surrounding the core. The core is comprised of a sponge-like material for retaining a moistening substance within the core, and the cover has at least one opening extending through to the core for permitting the release of moisture to the clothes drying environment.

         2 . A device for use in a laundry dryer for removing wrinkles on dry clothes, comprising:
 a shell structured to allow moisture to pass through; and   a water absorbent material inside the shell.   
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 3 , wherein the shell comprises a layer that that is perforated. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 3 , wherein holes are provided on the shell in a substantially uniform distribution. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein at least a portion of the outer surface of the shell is smooth. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein outer surface of the shell is textured. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the water absorbent material is substantially surrounded by the shell. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 7 , wherein the water absorbent material is a foam material. 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein the foam material is a sponge. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the water absorbent material includes an applicator material. 
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 2 , wherein the shell is spherical in shape. 
     
     
         12 . A method of removing wrinkles on dry clothes, comprising:
 providing a device as in  claim 2 ;   soaking the water absorbent material in water, such that the water absorbent material holds water;   placing the device and the dry cloths in a laundry dryer;   running the laundry dryer on a heat setting, thereby releasing moisture from the device to relax wrinkle on the clothes.   
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein the device comprises an applicator material. 
     
     
         14 . A device for use in a laundry dryer for removing wrinkles on dry clothes, comprising:
 a cover structured to allow moisture to pass through; and   a core, comprising a water absorbent material, surrounded by the cover.   
     
     
         15 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the cover comprises a layer that that is perforated. 
     
     
         16 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein holes are provided on the cover in a substantially uniform distribution. 
     
     
         17 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the outer surface of the cover includes one or more protuberances. 
     
     
         18 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the water absorbent material is substantially surrounded by the cover. 
     
     
         19 . The device of  claim 18 , wherein the water absorbent material is a sponge. 
     
     
         20 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the water absorbent material includes an applicator material. 
     
     
         21 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the cover is spherical in shape. 
     
     
         22 . A method of removing wrinkles on dry clothes, comprising:
 providing a device as in  claim 14 ;   adding a moistening substance to the water absorbent material, such that the water absorbent material absorbs the moistening substance;   placing the device and the dry clothes in a laundry dryer;   running the laundry dryer on a heat setting, thereby releasing moisture from the device to relax wrinkle on the clothes.   
     
     
         23 . The method of  claim 22 , wherein the device further comprises an applicator material.
