Bottle cap hair clip

Abstract

A bottle cap hair clip with a first hair dip member, a second hair dip member, a first top half panel, a second top half panel, a torsion spring and a set of first and second decorative top over panels. The first and second dip members are pivotably attached to each other by a common shaft and employ a torsion spring in a standard way. The first and second dip members each terminate at their upper edge in a hinge member. The first and second top half panels each terminate at their distal edges in a hinge portion that engages with the upper hinge members of the first and second clips. The top half panels are hingedly attached to each other at their central abutting edges. The first and second decorative top over panels are attached to the top surface of the first and second top half panels.

1 . bottle cap hair clip comprising:
 a first hair clip member;   a second hair clip member;   a first top half panel;   a second top half panel;   a torsion spring;   a first to second dip member hinge shaft;   a pair of distal first to second top panel hinge shafts;   a central first to second top panel hinge shaft;   a set of first and second decorative top over panels;   said first and second dip members pivotably attached to each other by said first to second dip member hinge shaft, and spring biased by said torsion spring in a standard way;   said first and second clip members each terminating at their upper most portion in an integral hinge portion;   said first and second top half panels each terminating at their distal edges in a hinge portion that engages, by said pair of distal first to second top panel shafts, with said upper hinge portions of said first and second clips;   said first and second top half panels attached hingedly at their central abutting edges by said central first to second panel shaft; and   said first and second decorative top over panels attached to the flat, top surface of said first and second top half panels.   
     
     
         2 . Bottle cap hair clip as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said decorative first and second decorative over panels are in the shape of a standard bottle cap. 
     
     
         3 . Bottle cap hair clip as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said decorative first and second decorative over panels are fixedly attached to said flat top surface of said first and second top half panels. 
     
     
         4 . Bottle cap hair clip as claimed in  claim 1  wherein an alternate embodiment said decorative over panels are removable and replaceable in a standard way from said flat top surface of said first and second top half panels.
