Abstract
A liquid crystal display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. A pixel area is formed on the first substrate, and a driver is formed on the substrate and electrically connected with the pixel area. A plurality of lines are electrically connected with the driver, and a plurality of pads are electrically connected with the plurality of lines. The plurality of pads are formed in a straight line and are not electrically connected with each other except for the electric connection with the plurality of lines.

a substrate; a plurality of test pads, including a first group of test pads and a second group of test pads, formed on the substrate; wherein test pads of the first group are arranged to provide a drain signal for testing said display device.
2 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein test pads of the second group are arranged to provide a gate signal for testing said display device.
3 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein said first group of test pads are arranged in a straight line.
4 . The display device according to claim 2 , wherein said second group of test pads are arranged in a straight line.
5 . The display device according to claim 2 , wherein the first group of test pads and the second group of test pads are arranged in a straight line.
6 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first group of test pads are arranged to be used with primary colors displayed by said display device.
7 . The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first group of test pads are arranged to be coupled to a drain driver of the display device and are located outside of a hidden area where the drain driver is located.
8 . The display device according to claim 2 , wherein the second group of test pads are arranged to be coupled to a gate driver of the display device and are located outside of a hidden area wherein the gate driver is located.
9 . The display device according to claim 7 , wherein the first group of test pads comprises six pads.
10 . The display device according to claim 8 , wherein the second group of test pads comprises three pads.
