Apparatus, system, and method for portable camp cooker with attachments
Abstract
A portable cooking apparatus is light, packable, compatible with back-country hiking, and is multi-functional for use over a heat source. An arm of the apparatus may elongate and shorten and may have an attachment system on the arm that allows the attachment of a plurality of food and drink holding attachments. The attachments may be coupled to a strap connected to a handle. The handle may include a compartment for holding parts of the apparatus or other articles so that the apparatus may be disassembled and stowed. A rotisserie mode enables rotation of food over an open flame. A rotisserie handle can be releasably coupled to the apparatus handle. The rotisserie handle can be placed in a locked condition to prevent rotation in a variety of cooking positions. A pivoting arm stabilizer enables cooking food to be horizontally pivoted to and from the heat source.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A portable grilling device for cooking over a heat source, the device comprising:
an extending positional arm that is changeable between a shorter setting and a longer setting, wherein the extending positional arm is collapsible between a longer setting and a shorter setting, the extending positional arm thereby having a variable length; an adapter portion on a distal end of the extending positional arm, wherein the adapter portion accepts a removably coupled food attachment; and the removably coupled food attachment that attaches to the adapter portion on the distal end of the extending positional arm.
2 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a handle coupled to the proximal end of the extending positional arm.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the extending positional arm is telescopic.
4 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a stabilizing stand, wherein the positional arm is supported on the stabilizing stand for hands-free utility.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the device has a plurality of extending positional arms that are telescopic.
6 . The device of claim 5 , wherein each of the extending positional arms comprises the adapter portion on the distal ends of the extending positional arms, wherein each adapter portion accepts removably coupled food attachments.
7 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a handle adapted to be coupled to the at least one arm, wherein the handle has a compartment to hold the arm for easy compact storage.
9 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the removably coupled food attachment is one of a fork, a sandwich sealing crust remover, a pot, a grill, a pie iron, and a Dutch oven.
10 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the extending positional arm and the removably coupled food attachment are made of stainless steel.
11 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the removably coupled food attachment attaches to the adapter portion by threads.
12 . A grilling device for cooking over a heat source, the device comprising:
a positional arm that is telescopic and changeable between a shorter setting and a longer setting, wherein the positional arm collapses from a longer setting to a shorter setting and extends from a shorter setting to a longer setting, the positional arm thereby having a variable length; an adapter portion attached to a distal end of the positional arm, wherein the adapter portion accepts, by threads, a removably coupled food attachment; a handle attached to a proximal end of the positional arm; the removably coupled food attachment that attaches, by threads, to the adapter portion on the distal end of the positional arm.
13 . The grilling device of claim 12 , wherein the removably coupled food attachment is a fork.
14 . The grilling device of claim 12 , wherein the positional arm is made of stainless steel.
15 . The grilling device of claim 12 , wherein the handle is made out of wood.
16 . The grilling device of claim 12 , wherein the handle further comprises a handle cord.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
