Abstract

A display stand for displaying hats having a plurality of rotatable sections which rotate about a central support wherein each section may comprise a plurality of downwardly sloped trays wherein the central support is fixed to a surrounding structure which is enclosed by panels and a door which may be lockable.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A display stand comprising:
an enclosure having a top, a base, and surrounding walls; a central support, which is attached to the base, oriented vertically along a central axis; one or more sleeves stacked around the central support such that said one or more sleeves are rotatable with respect to the central axis; one or more arms connected to said one or more sleeves such that each arm is oriented generally radially outwards from the central support and such that each arm is capable of supporting a plurality of hats.

         2 . A display stand comprising:
an enclosure having a top, a base, and surrounding walls; a central support which has one or more independently rotatable sections and which is attached to the base, oriented vertically along a central axis, such that said one or more rotatable sections are rotatable with respect to the central axis; one or more arms connected to said one or more rotatable sections such that each arm is oriented generally radially outwards from the central support and such that each arm is capable of supporting a plurality of hats.

3 . The device of claim 1 wherein at least one of said arms is removable.

4 . The device of claim 1 wherein at least one of said arms is angled such that its connection to the central support is higher than its radially distal end so as to induce the hats to slide radially outwards from the central support.

5 . The device of claim 1 wherein said sleeves are stacked on the central support such that at least one of said sleeves may be rotated relative to the enclosure and relative to at least one of the other sleeves.

6 . The device of claim 1 wherein at least one of said arms is a tray.

7 . The device of claim 6 wherein the tray has rails on its sides.

8 . The device of claim 6 wherein the tray has a rail at its distal end.

9 . The device of claim 1 wherein the enclosure contains a door.

10 . The device of claim 9 wherein the door is kept shut by a locking mechanism, until unlocked.

11 . The device of claim 9 wherein there is an external device to rotate the display that does not require that the door be open.

12 . The device of claim 1 wherein one or more removable panels form at least a portion of the sides of the enclosure.

13 . The device of claim 12 wherein at least one of the removable panels, when not removed, is held in place by one or more vertically oriented corner extrusions.

14 . The device of claim 1 wherein the central support is able to rotate about the central axis.

15 . The device of claim 1 wherein one or more of the sleeves are provided rotational adjustability by the inclusion of at least one friction reducing device at the interface between the top or bottom of the sleeve and the bottom or top of the central support or a flange extending circumferentially outwards from the central support.

16 . The device of claim 3 wherein at least one of the removable arms is installed onto the sleeve by inserting a tab or tabs that are a part of the arm into a hole or holes in the sleeve wall, and, once inserted, by tilting the arm to its final position.
