Abstract

A camera system for driving a diaphragm by a stepping motor including first and second coils and capable of 2-phase driving, includes a display unit configured to display an image signal, a live view control unit configured to display image signals sequentially read from an image sensor in the display unit, and a control unit configured to set only one of the first and second coils to be in an energized state when the live view control unit displays the image signals in the display unit.

Claims

an imaging unit configured to obtain image data by shooting an object; a display unit configured to display an image corresponding to the image data obtained by the imaging unit; and an energization controlling unit configured to conduct an energization control of the first and second coils; wherein, in case where the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in an energized state and driving the diaphragm while sequentially displaying the image corresponding to the image data obtained by the imaging unit on the display unit, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after driving the diaphragm, and wherein, in case where the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in the energized state and driving the diaphragm for shooting the still image, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after completing the still image shooting.

2 . The camera system according to claim 1 , wherein, in case where driving the diaphragm for shooting the still image, the energization control unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after driving the diaphragm so that the diaphragm position becomes an open position after completing the still image shooting.

3 . The camera system according to claim 1 , wherein, incase where driving the diaphragm while sequentially displaying the image corresponding to the image data obtained by the imaging unit on the display unit, the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is to be in an energized state.

4 . A camera system for driving a diaphragm using a stepping motor including first and second coils and capable of 2-phase driving, comprising:
an imaging unit configured to obtain image data by shooting an object; a flicker detection unit configured to detect a flicker phenomenon caused by a change in illuminance of a captured scene; and an energization controlling unit configured to control an energization of the first and second coils; wherein, in case where the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in an energized state and driving the diaphragm while detecting the flicker phenomenon by the flicker detection unit, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after driving the diaphragm, and wherein, in case where the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in the energized state and driving the diaphragm for shooting the still image, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after completing the still image shooting.

5 . The camera system according to claim 4 , wherein, in case where driving the diaphragm while the flicker detection unit detecting the flicker phenomenon, the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is to be in the energized state.

6 . A camera system for driving a diaphragm using a stepping motor including first and second coils and capable of 2-phase driving, comprising:
an imaging unit configured to obtain image data by shooting an object; a flicker detection unit configured to detect a flicker phenomenon caused by a change in illuminance of a captured scene; and a driving controlling unit configured to control the driving of the diaphragm by conducting an energization control of the first and second coils; wherein, in case where driving the diaphragm while the flicker detection unit is detecting the flicker phenomenon, the driving controlling unit drives the diaphragm at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is to be in an energized, and wherein, in case where driving the diaphragm for shooting the still image, the driving controlling unit drives the diaphragm at the diaphragm position where at least one of the first and second coils is to be in an energized state.

7 . A lens apparatus comprising for driving a diaphragm using a stepping motor including first and second coils and capable of 2-phase driving, comprising:
a reception unit configured to receive information from a connected imaging; and an energization controlling unit configured to conduct an energization of the first and second coils; wherein, in case where driving the diaphragm at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in an energized state based on information received by the reception unit and driving the diaphragm while sequentially displaying the image corresponding to the image data obtained by the imaging unit on the display unit, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after driving the diaphragm, and wherein, in case where the diaphragm is driven at the diaphragm position where only one of the first and second coils is in the energized state and driving the diaphragm for shooting the still image, the energization controlling unit cancels the energization to the coil in the energized state after completing the still image shooting.

8 . A lens apparatus comprising for driving a diaphragm using a stepping motor including first and second coils and capable of 2-phase driving, comprising:
