Secret Message-Carrying and Attractive Articles of Jewelry

Abstract

An attractive article of jewelry has a set of round and oblong beads strung together onto a strand of material in such a manner that the round and oblong beads correspond to the letters of Morse code. An attractive article of jewelry thus presents a hidden message. A third type of bead, in shape and/or color can be employed to separate letters in the message and to also separate words. Additional trinkets, serving to both make the article of jewelry more attractive and, as distractors for the hidden message, can be used, too. The article of jewelry is attractive in its own merit and, yet, provides a hidden message which is discernable only when one realizes that the beads, rounds and oblong in shape, are the dots and dashes of Morse coding.

1 . An article of jewelry comprising:
 a first set of beads of a first distinct visual look and a second set of beads of a different distinct visual look, said first and second set of beads being strung on a strand together to form a message according to the Morse code with said first beads corresponding to dots and said second set of beads corresponding to dashes of said Morse code.   
   
   
       2 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said first set of beads are round. 
   
   
       3 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said second set of beads are oblong shaped. 
   
   
       4 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 2  wherein said second set of beads are oblong shaped. 
   
   
       5 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said first set of beads are in a first color. 
   
   
       6 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 5  wherein said second set of beads are different in shape and/or color to said first set of beads. 
   
   
       7 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  wherein letters of said message are separated by a third set of beads of a third visual distinct look. 
   
   
       8 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  wherein said first set of beads are round in shape and said second set of beads are oblong in shape. 
   
   
       9 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 7  wherein said first set of bead are round in shape, said second set of beads are oblong in shape and said third set of beads are different in shape and/or color to said first and said second set of beads. 
   
   
       10 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 1  further comprising distractor beads which are not part of said message. 
   
   
       11 . An article of jewelry as claimed in  claim 7  further comprising a set of distractor beads or trinkets having nothing to do with said message.
