Strip- pack manufacturing apparatus

Abstract

A strip-pack manufacturing apparatus is adapted to manufacture a strip-pack in which at least first and second articles are attached to a strip. The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus includes an attachment part and an orientation control part. The attachment part is configured and arranged to attach an end portion of each of the first and second articles to the strip. The orientation control part is disposed downstream of the attachment part, and configured and arranged to control the orientation of the first article attached to the strip prior to the second article while the attachment part attaches the second article to the strip.

1 . A strip-pack manufacturing apparatus adapted to manufacture a strip-pack in which at least first and second articles are attached to a strip, the strip-pack manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 an attachment part configured and arranged to attach an end portion of each of the first and second articles to the strip; and   an orientation control part disposed downstream of the attachment part, and configured and arranged to control the orientation of the first article attached to the strip prior to the second article while the attachment part attaches the second article to the strip.   
   
   
       2 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the orientation control part has side surfaces configured and arranged to control the lateral orientation of the first article.   
   
   
       3 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein
 the orientation control part has a first receiving surface configured and arranged to support the second article while the attachment part attaches the second article to the strip article, the first receiving surface being consecutively disposed on the downstream side of the attachment part.   
   
   
       4 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein
 the orientation control part further has a first side surface adjacent to the first receiving surface, with the first side surface being configured and arranged to control the lateral orientation of the second article.   
   
   
       5 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein
 the orientation control part further has a drop-in part disposed downstream of the first receiving surface so that the first article is dropped down onto the drop-in part from the first receiving surface.   
   
   
       6 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the drop-in part has a second receiving surface.   
   
   
       7 . The strip-pack manufacturing apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein
 the drop-in part further has second side surfaces disposed on both sides of the second receiving surface, and guide surfaces disposed between the second receiving surface and the second side surfaces to guide the first article toward the center of the second receiving surface.
