Battery and holding structure for same
Abstract
A holding structure comprises a housing and a battery, the housing defines a receiving cavity, an end wall of the receiving cavity forms a protrusion, the other end wall defines a locking groove, a plurality of elastic pins formed on the bottom of the receiving cavity. The battery has a latching hole defined on one end to receive the protrusion, the other end forms an engaging end to engage with the locking groove. Each of the elastic pins has a clamping section, the battery forms a plurality of latching slots, the clamping section latch into the latching slot correspondingly after the battery is received in the receiving cavity.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A battery for a portable electronic device, comprising:
a recess; a plurality of electronic strips arranged on the bottom surface of the recess, a plurality of latching slots defined on the sidewall of the recess.
2 . The battery as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the sidewall of the recess includes a protruding flange, the latching slots defined parallel to each other and on the protruding flange.
3 . The battery as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the battery includes a bottom surface and an end surface, the recess is defined in the bottom surface of the battery.
4 . The battery as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the end surface has a latching hole defined thereon to latch with a housing of an electronic device.
5 . The battery as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the battery forms an engaging end opposite to the end surface.
6 . The battery as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the latching slots align with the electrical strip and are in a line with the electrical strips.
7 . A holding structure for a battery, comprising:
a housing defining a receiving cavity, the receiving cavity having two end walls and two sidewalls, one of the end walls forming a protrusion, the other end wall defining a locking groove, a plurality of elastic pins formed on the bottom of the receiving cavity; a battery, the battery having a latching hole on one end thereof to receive the protrusion, the other end of the battery having an engaging end to engage with the locking groove; wherein each of the elastic pins has a clamping section, the battery having a plurality of electronic strips and a plurality of latching slots, the battery being received in the receiving cavity, the clamping section latching into the latching slot correspondingly and the elastic pins resisting against the electronic strips correspondingly.
8 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 7 , wherein a stopping board is received in the locking groove to elastically resist the engaging end of the battery.
9 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the battery includes a bottom surface and an end surface, the recess defined in the bottom surface.
10 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the electronic strips arranged on the bottom of the recess, the sidewall of the recess extends laterally an protruding flange, the protruding flange defines the latching slots.
11 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the latching slot aligns with the electrical strip and is in a line with the electrical strip.
12 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the clamping section extends perpendicularly to the bottom surface of the receiving cavity.
13 . The holding structure as claimed in claim 7 , wherein the clamping section has smaller width than the remainder of the elastic piece to latch with the latching slot securely.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
