Abstract

The present invention relates to a head band and hair clip construction. More particularly the invention relates to a head band and hair clip construction that is made to accommodate different cover constructions (faces).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A head band construction, comprising: a foundation head band having an upper surface, a bottom surface, a peripheral surface and a fastening device; wherein said foundation may connect to at least one attachable member by at least one edge or the center region. The attachable member attaches via a Velcro® but may be constructed to attach with other fastening means.

. A hair clip construction, comprising: a foundation hair clip having an upper surface; wherein said foundation may connect to at least one attachable member by at least one edge. The attachable member attaches via Velcro® but may be constructed to attach with other fastening means.

. A cover construction, comprising a fastening structure that would be matable with a fastening structure on a head band or hair clip foundation. The said component having an upper surface and bottom surface; wherein said construction may connect to a foundation member by at least one edge or the center region. The attachable member attaches via Velcro® but may be constructed to attach with other fastening means.

. A flexible head band foundation that is joined circumferentially via snaps and a pony tail holder. The said foundation having fastening means on both of the ends that allow for a pony tail holder to be attached via snaps. The said being constructed out of flexible material. The said optionally having a fastening structure that would be matable with that of the fastening means on the cover components.

. Wherein as part of claim one I, 2 and 4 claim a head band or hair clip construction that has at least one isolated area up to several areas for an attachable component and the area for the attachable component may be of different sizes and configurations.

. As part of claim 1 , 2 and 3 an attachable component where Velcro® is ideal although it may be made of any type of fastening means such as snaps mechanical traditional snaps, buttons and linear or curved zippers.

. I claim a head band or hair clip construction as in claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 having at least one attachable component with an engageable portion for said fastener.

. A head band construction as in claim 1 and 4 where user friendly fasteners are selected from the group compromising snaps, buttons, studs, curved zippers, linear zippers, linear dual post zippers and Velcro®.

. A hair clip construction and system as in claim 2 wherein any type of hair clip may be constructed with a depression that has a fastener within a depression in combination with related connections engaging an interchangeable component.

. Wherein said connection interface is a Velcro® hook and loop fastening means in reference to claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 .

. Wherein said connection interface is a snap fastening means in reference to claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 .

. We claim that the attachable members of one head band foundation may fit another hair accessory foundation creating more versatility so long as the allotted section for the attachable component is compatible.

. I claim as part of claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 where the attachable components are made of fabric, hemp, cords, cotton, leather, suede, metal, rubber, plastic, ribbon, silk, satin. Feathers, gold, silver, diamonds, rhinestones, copper, brass, wood, beads, sequence, studs, jewels, chains, buckles, synthetic fibers, velvet, canvas, denim, lace, metal, zippers and glass.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 and 3 I claim a metal foundation.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 I claim a foundation made of leather or suede or synthetic materials.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 I claim a foundation made of plastic or rubber.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 I claim an attachable member that varies in size and that may be of different configurations, lengths and widths that changes the appearance of the foundation head band or hair clip.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 a hair clip and head band construction where user friendly fasteners are selected from the group compromising snaps, buttons, studs, curved zippers, hook & eye, linear zippers, linear dual post zippers and Velcro®.

. Wherein as claim 4 a head band construction that gets a longer life by changing the elastic component.

. Wherein as claim 4 a flexible head band construction that may or may not be constructed to employ embellishments but that comes with interchangeable elastic components.

. Wherein as claim 1 , 2 and 4 I claim that the foundations will be constructed with rubber coating on the areas that touch the hair that helps to keep the foundations in place.
