Abstract
Herein is described a device that prevents the back of one's pants from dragging on the ground by clamping the back of the pants to the back of the shoe. This is done particularly by attaching adhesive hook and loop fastening strips to both the base of the clip and the back sole of the shoe, attaching the clip to the shoe via the hook and loop fasteners, and sliding the bottom of the pant leg between the clip and the back heel of the shoe.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A device for securing a pant cuff, comprising:
a first fastener having two sides, wherein a first side includes an adhesive and a second side includes a first set of protrusions; a second fastener having two sides, wherein the first side includes an adhesive and a second side includes a second set of protrusions operable to engage with the first set of protrusions; a clip operatively connected to the first side of the second fastener using the adhesive; wherein:
the first side of the first fastener is operatively connectable to an object using the adhesive;
the second side of the second fastener is operatively connectable to the second side of the first fastener based on the first and second set of protrusions;
the first and second fasteners are operatively connected to create a gap between the clip and the object.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the first and second set of protrusions comprise velcro.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the clip is plastic.
4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the second fastener is operatively connected to a midpoint of the clip.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein when the clip and the object are operatively connected, a solid material is prevented from passing substantially below a transverse midline of the clip.
6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the solid material comprises a pant cuff.
7 . A device for securing a pant cuff, comprising:
two fasteners having opposing sides, wherein a first fastener is selectively connectable to a first object and a second fastener is selectively connectable to a clip; wherein the second fastener is connected to the clip along at a transverse and vertical midpoint; and wherein the two fasteners are selectively engageable to form a space between the first object and the clip, where the connection between the first and second fasteners prevent a second object from passing through the transverse midpoint of the clip.
8 . The device of claim 7 , wherein at least one side of each of the two fasteners comprise Velcro.
9 . The device of claim 7 , wherein at least one side of each of the two fasteners comprise an adhesive.
10 . The device of claim 7 , wherein the clip is comprised of one of plastic or metal.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
