Abstract

A recessed wall drawer ( 1 ) having a housing ( 4 ) which fits inside a wall ( 2 ) and is mounted between two studs ( 13 ). The recessed wall drawer may be installed in new construction or in preexisting walls simply by cutting out a section of drywall ( 11 ) between two studs at a desired locations securing the housing to the two studs with fasteners ( 12 ), such as screws, and inserting a drawer ( 5 ) into the housing. The drawer may be mounted in the housing via a movable attachment means ( 6 ), such as slides ( 7 ), pivot points ( 9 ) or a hinge ( 10 ), which allow a user to open and shut the drawer. The drawer may be installed and used anywhere in a home such as in a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom and so forth.

1 . A recessed wall drawer comprising:
 a housing of a predetermined size which is mounted in the interior of a wall between wall studs and is secured to the wall studs using a fastening means; and   a drawer which is mounted in the housing via a moveable attachment means.   
   
   
       2 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 1  wherein:
 said moveable attachment means comprises at least one slide.   
   
   
       3 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 2  further comprising:
 at least one stop means which prevents the drawer from opening past a predetermined point.   
   
   
       4 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 1  wherein:
 said movable attachment means comprises pivot points.   
   
   
       5 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 4  further comprising:
 at least one stop means which prevents the drawer from opening past a predetermined point.   
   
   
       6 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 1  wherein:
 said movable attachment means comprises at least one hinge.   
   
   
       7 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 6  further comprising:
 at least one stop means which prevents the drawer from opening past a predetermined point.   
   
   
       8 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 1  further comprising:
 trim attached to the housing which surrounds the opening of the housing.   
   
   
       9 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 2  further comprising:
 trim attached to the housing which surrounds the opening of the housing thereby creating a lip around the housing.   
   
   
       10 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 4  further comprising:
 trim attached to the housing which surrounds the opening of the housing thereby creating a lip around the housing.   
   
   
       11 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 6  further comprising:
 trim attached to the housing which surrounds the opening of the housing thereby creating a lip around the housing.   
   
   
       12 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 1  further comprising:
 a handle attached to the drawer.   
   
   
       13 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 2  further comprising:
 a handle attached to the drawer.   
   
   
       14 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 4  further comprising:
 a handle attached to the drawer.   
   
   
       15 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 6  further comprising:
 a handle attached to the drawer.   
   
   
       16 . A recessed wall drawer comprising:
 a housing of a predetermined size which is mounted in the interior of a wall between wall studs and is secured to the wall studs using a fastening means; and   a drawer which is mounted in the housing and via at least one slide.   
   
   
       17 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 16  further comprising:
 at least one stop means which prevents the drawer from opening past a predetermined point.   
   
   
       18 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 16  further comprising:
 trim attached to the housing which surrounds the opening of the housing thereby creating a lip around the housing.   
   
   
       19 . The recessed wall drawer of  claim 16  further comprising:
 a handle attached to the drawer.
