Abstract

One embodiment of an exercising device may include a pair of base members adapted to be placed on a surface in a spaced apart relation to each other. The exercising device may also include a pair of side bars. Each side bar of the pair of side bars is vertically supported by respective base member of the pair of base members. Further, the exercising device may include a cross-bar horizontally supported by the pair of side bars at a distance away from the pair of base members to configure an assembled state of the exercising device. The assembled state of the exercising device may facilitate in performing multiple exercises. The pair of base members may be adapted to removably engage with each other and to receive the pair of side bars and the cross-bar to configure a folded state of the exercising device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An exercising device comprising:
a pair of base members adapted to be placed on a surface in a spaced apart relation to each other; a pair of side bars, each side bar of the pair of side bars vertically supported by a respective base member of the pair of base members; and a cross-bar horizontally supported by the pair of side bars at a distance away from the pair of base members to configure an assembled state of the exercising device, wherein the pair of base members is adapted to removably engage with each other, and receive the pair of side bars and the cross-bar to configure a compact state of the exercising device.

2 . The exercising device of claim 1 , wherein each base member of the pair of base members comprises
a base plate adapted to be placed on the surface, a pair of side plates extending vertically from intermediate portions of opposite edges of the base plate, and a pair of cross plates extending between the pair of side plates, wherein the pair of cross plates is spaced apart from the base plate for configuring a hollow space between the base plate and the pair of cross plates, and wherein the hollow space is adapted to receive at least a side bar of the pair of side bars and the cross-bar therethrough in the compact state of the device.

3 . The exercising device of claim 2 , wherein each side bar of the pair of side bars comprises
a lower bar member adapted to be carried by the pair of side plates, an intermediate bar member telescopically associated with the lower bar member, an upper bar member telescopically associated with the intermediate bar member, and a bar head carried by the upper bar member, the bar head adapted to support an end portion of the cross-bar.

4 . The exercising device of claim 1 , further comprising a bar plate mounted on the cross-bar.

5 . The exercising device of claim 4 , wherein the bar plate is mounted on the cross-bar by hinges.

6 . The exercising device of claim 4 , wherein the bar plate comprises a pair of cutouts, the pair of cutouts adapted to receive fingers of an individual for pull-ups in the assembled state of the exercising device.

7 . The exercising device of claim 4 , further comprising a loop screw rigidly securing the bar plate with the cross-bar.

8 . The exercising device of claim 7 , wherein the loop screw is capable of supporting a punching bag for allowing an individual to workout with the punching bag.

9 . The exercising device of claim 8 , further comprising
a pair of support hooks carried by respective lower bar member of the pair of side bar members, and a tying member capable of tying the punching bag to the pair of support hooks.

10 . The exercising device of claim 4 , wherein the bar plate is adapted to support a speed bag for allowing an individual to workout with the speed bag.

11 . The exercising device of claim 2 , further comprising a handle member carried by one of a base plate of the pair of base members, the handle member enables an individual to carry the exercising device in the folded state.

12 . The exercising device of claim 2 , further comprising a storage bag carried by a side plate of the pair of side plates.
