Abstract

Disclosed are a device attached to an end of a pulling cord of a Venetian blind for storing the pulling cord and a device for adjusting and controlling slats of the Venetian blind. Therein, a reel box is provided for storing a redundant stretch of the pulling cord so as to improve safety and esthetics. The reel box is further equipped therein with a control unit for adjusting angles of the slats via remote control. The control unit drives a speed-reducing driving element at an upper beam of the Venetian blind to effectively adjust and control the angles of the slats.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A device for storing a pulling cord of a Venetian blind, essentially comprising: a reel box provided at a distal end of the pulling cord of the Venetian blind; a reel disk provided in a housing of the reel box, wherein the distal end of the pulling cord is fixedly connected to the reel disk; a spiral spring fixedly installed on the reel disk within an inner diameter thereof; a positioning shaft provided above the reel disk in the housing; a fulcrum shaft corresponding in position to the positioning shaft; and a press key insertedly engaged with the fulcrum shaft and having an end formed with a cord-detaining gear and an opposite end formed with a pressing portion, the pressing portion having a side biased by a coil spring, wherein the pulling cord is wound around the reel disk and passes between the positioning shaft and the cord-detaining gear of the press key so as to be detained by the cord-detaining gear of the press key and the positioning shaft, thus allowing the pulling cord to be reeled in around the reel disk or unwound therefrom so as to extend out.

         2 . A device for adjusting and controlling slats of a Venetian blind, essentially comprising: a transverse shaft at an upper beam of the Venetian blind; a speed-reducing driving element driven by a motor and coupled to an end of the transverse shaft; a first circuit board coupled to the speed-reducing driving element and built-in with a remotely controlled IC for controlling forward and backward rotation and a signal receiver, wherein the motor is activated to rotate forward or backward when the signal receiver receives a signal; and a battery serving as a power source for activating the motor and the first circuit board;
 wherein the device for adjusting and controlling the slats of the Venetian blind further comprises the reel box of the device for storing the pulling cord of the Venetian blind as claimed in claim 1 , the reel box being provided therein with a second circuit board built-in with a signal transmitter, the second circuit board being coupled with a forward rotation button and a backward rotation button and powered by a mercury battery, wherein upon pressing the forward rotation button or the backward rotation button of the reel box, the signal transmitter emits an electric wave signal to be received by the signal receiver so that the remotely controlled IC for controlling forward and backward rotation activates the motor and the speed-reducing driving element, thereby rotating the transverse shaft forward or backward to adjust angles of the slats.
