Abstract
A clothes drying rack, which comprises two supporting longitudinal members for two mutually opposite frames which can slide with respect to each other, with mutual sliding elements, between a first substantially superimposed configuration so as to form a single central hanging frame and a second configuration of complete and mutual extraction, both completely available for hanging, supporting elements for the clothes drying rack being associated with the longitudinal members.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A clothes drying rack, comprising two supporting longitudinal members for two mutually opposite frames which can slide with respect to each other, with mutual sliding means, between a first substantially superimposed configuration so as to form a single central hanging frame and a second configuration of complete and mutual extraction, both completely available for hanging, supporting means for the clothes drying rack being associated with said longitudinal members.
2 . The clothes drying rack according to claim 1 , wherein each one of said two frames is formed by a U-shaped tubular element, which supports a plurality of rod-like or wire-like components for hanging clothes, lateral portions of said U-shaped tubular elements being adapted to be inserted, so that they can be extracted, within said longitudinal members, between the longitudinal members and the corresponding lateral portions, stroke limiting means being provided for preventing extraction, which are adapted to prevent complete extraction of the frames from the longitudinal members.
3 . The clothes drying rack according to claim 1 , wherein said mutual sliding means are constituted by two sliding cross-members provided with corresponding sleeves for sliding on the longitudinal members, each of the two sliding cross-members comprising locking seats for free ends of rods of a first frame of the two mutually opposite frames, and slots for mutual sliding with respect to rods of a second frame of the two mutually opposite frames.
4 . The clothes drying rack according to claim 2 , wherein the extraction-preventing stroke limiting means adapted to prevent complete extraction of the frames from the longitudinal members are constituted by a block for each end of the longitudinal members, a transverse pin being inserted within each block and being adapted to form an abutment stroke limit for a shoulder formed by a sleeve that is arranged so as to surround a corresponding end of the lateral portion of the U-shaped element of each frame.
5 . The clothes drying rack according to claim 3 , wherein each sliding cross-member is composed of two half-shells obtained by molding plastic material.
6 . The clothes drying rack according to claim 5 , wherein said half-shells are mutually fixed by means of screws or as an alternative by interlocking or by other similar and equivalent means.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
