Abstract
Solving Means A whole-body phantom A characterized by being obtained from a conductive rubber material comprising a rubber base and a conductive filler incorporated therein by molding the rubber material so as to copy the whole shape of a human body; and a process for producing a whole-body phantom, characterized by using a mold which conforms to the shape of a human body and is made of a fiber-reinforced plastic. Effect The whole-body phantom enables, with satisfactory handling, an examination of, e.g., influences of electromagnetic waves on the human body in various poses. The process for whole-body phantom production is suitable for use in producing such whole-body phantom.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A whole-body phantom obtained from a conductive rubber material comprising a rubber base loaded with a conductive filler by molding said conductive rubber material so as to copy the whole shape of a human body.
2 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said conductive rubber material is laminated on a surface of a hollow-shaped fiber-reinforced plastic body molded so as to copy the whole shape of a human body.
3 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 2 , wherein the hollow part of said fiber-reinforced plastic molded body is further filled with said conductive rubber material or a polymeric foam material.
4 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , obtained by molding said conductive rubber material into a solid shape so as to copy the whole shape of a human body.
5 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , obtained by molding said conductive rubber material so as to copy the whole shape of a human body and to have a hollow part, and filling said hollow part with a polymeric foam material so as to form a solid shape copying the whole shape of the human body.
6 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , wherein a part corresponding to an arm can be detachably attached to a part corresponding to a trunk.
7 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , wherein a part corresponding to an upper half of the human body and a part corresponding to a lower half of the human body can be detachably attached to each other.
8 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , wherein said conductive rubber material has electric characteristics similar to those of muscle, fat or skin of a human body.
9 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 2 , wherein said fiber-reinforced plastic has electric characteristics similar to those of bones of a human body.
10 . The whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 8 , obtained through lamination of at least two materials selected from the group composed of said conductive rubber material having electric characteristics similar to those of muscle, fat or skin of a human body and said fiber-reinforced plastic having electric characteristics similar to those of bones of a human body.
11 . A process for producing a whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 1 , wherein a mold made of a fiber-reinforced plastic and corresponding to the outer shape of a human body is used.
12 . The process for producing a whole-body phantom as set forth in claim 11 , comprising the steps of filling the space between an outer mold made of a fiber-reinforced plastic and corresponding to the outer shape of a human body and an inner mold made of a fiber-reinforced plastic and corresponding to said outer mold with an uncured conductive rubber material having an uncured rubber base loaded with a conductive filler, curing the conductive rubber material, and leaving said inner mold inside said cured conductive rubber material.
13 . The process as set forth in claim 12 , further comprising the step of filling a hollow part defined by said inner mold with said conductive rubber material or a polymeric foam material.
14 . The process as set forth in claim 11 , wherein a conductive rubber material having an uncured rubber base loaded with a conductive filler is applied to, laminated on or laid along inner surfaces of a pair of outer molds formed of a fiber-reinforced plastic and corresponding to the outer shape of a human body when mated to each other, said outer molds are mated to each other so as to define a hollow part by said conductive rubber material, and said hollow part is filled with a polymeric foam material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
