Abstract

A mute compressor includes a driving motor, a positioning base fixed at one side of the driving motor, a driven mechanism and a cylinder fixed above the positioning base. The driving motor has a driving gear and a cooling fan respectively fixed at its two sides. The positioning base is provided with a chamber for accommodating the driven mechanism having a driven gear engaged with the driving gear. Set on the driven gear is a shaft that is fixed with a cam having an eccentric shaft fixed on it. The cylinder includes a piston and a piston rod fixed at the bottom of the piston to connect with the eccentric shaft. With the driving gear and the driven mechanism confined in the chamber sealed with a lid, the noise created during operation of the mute compressor can be blocked by the positioning base to get minimized.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A mute compressor comprising:
a driving motor provided with a driving gear fixed at one side and a cooling fan positioned at another side; a positioning base fixed at one side of said driving motor; a driven mechanism installed in said positioning base; said driven gear installed in said positioning base and engaged with said driving gear; a shaft fixed in a center of said driven gear; a cam positioned on said shaft; an eccentric shaft fixed on said cam; a cylinder fixed above said positioning base and provided with a piston installed inside, and a piston rod having one end fixed at a bottom of said piston and another end pivotally connected with said eccentric shaft; and said mute compressor characterized by accommodating said driving gear and said driven mechanism in a chamber of said positioning base sealed with a lid so that said driving gear and said driven mechanism are completely confined in said positioning base.
