Claims

Abstract

The present invention reduces the amount of control information for specifying the transmission method for simultaneously transmitting the uplink data and the reception quality information as well as the uplink data and the ACK/NACK, reduces delay occurring in changing the transmission method, and realizes the mapping of the uplink data and the reception quality information and that of the uplink data and the ACK/NACK, in compliance with modulation scheme and coding rate of the uplink data specified by the base station apparatus. In the mobile communication system where the base station apparatus allocates, to the mobile station apparatus, resources wherein the base station apparatus transmits, to the mobile station apparatus, control information for specifying a transmission format for the mobile station apparatus to transmit information using the uplink, while the mobile station apparatus simultaneously transmits, to the base station apparatus, the uplink data and the reception quality information based on the specified transmission format in case of having received the control information from the base station apparatus.

       29 . A mobile communication system where a mobile station apparatus transmits, to a base station apparatus, reception quality information indicating quality of signals received from said base station apparatus, wherein
 said base station apparatus   transmits, to said mobile station apparatus, a signal for permitting data transmission in an uplink including resource allocation information for specifying time component or frequency component for an uplink data channel, and   said mobile station apparatus   calculates, from said resource allocation information, resource amount for reception quality information mapped together with uplink data onto said uplink data channel, and   transmits, to said base station apparatus, reception quality information with said calculated resource amount and said uplink data together by using said uplink data channel.   
   
   
       30 . The mobile communication system of  claim 29 , wherein said mobile station apparatus calculates said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not exceed a predefined amount. 
   
   
       31 . The mobile communication system of  claim 30 , wherein said predefined amount is set by a RRC signaling transmitted from said base station apparatus. 
   
   
       32 . The mobile communication system of  claim 29 , wherein said mobile station apparatus calculates said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not fall below a predefined amount. 
   
   
       33 . The mobile communication system of  claim 32 , wherein said predefined amount is set by a RRC signaling transmitted from said base station apparatus. 
   
   
       34 . A mobile station apparatus in a mobile communication system where said mobile station apparatus transmits, to a base station apparatus, reception quality information indicating quality of signals received from said base station apparatus, and comprising:
 an unit for receiving, from said base station apparatus, resource allocation information for specifying time component or frequency component for an uplink data channel included in a signal for permitting data transmission in an uplink,   an unit for calculating, from said resource allocation information, resource amount for reception quality information mapped together with uplink data onto said uplink data channel, and   an unit for transmitting, to said base station apparatus, reception quality information with said calculated resource amount and said uplink data together by using said uplink data channel.   
   
   
       35 . The mobile station apparatus of  claim 34 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not exceed a predefined amount. 
   
   
       36 . The mobile station apparatus of  claim 34 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not fall below a predefined amount. 
   
   
       37 . A base station apparatus in a mobile communication system where a mobile station apparatus transmits, to said base station apparatus, reception quality information indicating quality of signals received from said base station apparatus, and comprising:
 an unit for transmitting, to said mobile station apparatus, resource allocation information for specifying time component or frequency component for an uplink data channel included in a signal for permitting data transmission in an uplink,   an unit for receiving, from said mobile station apparatus, said uplink data channel onto which reception quality information with calculated resource amount from said resource allocation information by said mobile station apparatus is mapped with said uplink data together, and for extracting, from said uplink data channel, said reception quality information.   
   
   
       38 . The base station apparatus of  claim 37 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not exceed a predefined amount.

       40 . A communication method of a mobile station apparatus in a mobile communication system where said mobile station apparatus transmits, to a base station apparatus, reception quality information indicating quality of signals received from said base station apparatus, and comprising:
 receiving, from said base station apparatus, resource allocation information for specifying time component or frequency component for an uplink data channel included in a signal for permitting data transmission in an uplink,   calculating, from said resource allocation information, resource amount for reception quality information mapped together with uplink data onto said uplink data channel, and   transmitting, to said base station apparatus, reception quality information with said calculated resource amount and said uplink data together by using said uplink data channel.   
   
   
       41 . The communication method of  claim 40 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not exceed a predefined amount.

       43 . A communication method of a base station apparatus in a mobile communication system where a mobile station apparatus transmits, to said base station apparatus, reception quality information indicating quality of signals received from said base station apparatus, and comprising:
 transmitting, to said mobile station apparatus, resource allocation information for specifying time component or frequency component for an uplink data channel included in a signal for permitting data transmission in an uplink,   receiving, from said mobile station apparatus, said uplink data channel onto which reception quality information with calculated resource amount from said resource allocation information by said mobile station apparatus is mapped with said uplink data together, and extracting, from said uplink data channel, said reception quality information.   
   
   
       44 . The communication method of  claim 43 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not exceed a predefined amount. 
   
   
       45 . The communication method of  claim 43 , calculating said resource amount for reception quality information so that said resource amount does not fall below a predefined amount.
