Abstract
A surgical tool may include a staple holding strip, and surgical staples frangibly connected to an edge of that staple holding strip.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A surgical tool, comprising:
a staple holding strip; and a plurality of surgical staples frangibly connected to an edge of said staple holding strip.
2 . The surgical tool of claim 1 , wherein said staple holding strip is expandable.
3 . The surgical tool of claim 1 , wherein all of said staples are affixed to a single edge of said staple holding strip.
4 . The surgical tool of claim 1 , wherein at least one said staple is connected to said staple holding strip at only a single connection point.
5 . The surgical tool of claim 4 , wherein at least one said staple is frangibly connected to said staple holding strip at said single connection point.
5 . The surgical tool of claim 1 , wherein said staples are substantially coplanar with said staple holding strip.
6 . The surgical tool of claim 1 , wherein at least one staple is at least partially curved.
