Multi-planar knockdown table

Abstract

The present invention describes a knockdown table with superposed multiple planar members, where the multiple planar members are supported by multiple axially aligned columnar supports inserted into receiving cups attached to the planar members. Vertical separation of the superposed planar members is determined by the length of the columnar supports.

A multi-planar knockdown table comprising a plurality of superposed planar members, said planar members supported on a plurality of central axially aligned columnar supports inserted into sockets of mounting cups centrally attached to said planar members, the top planar member having a mounting cup centrally attached to the bottom surface of said top planar member, the remaining planar members having mounting cups centrally attached to top and bottom surfaces of said intermediary planar members, the bottom planar member supported by a columnar support inserted into a base socket. 
   
   
       2 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 1  where said base socket comprises a cup attached to a metal stamping. 
   
   
       3 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 1  where said base socket comprises a base having an integral socket. 
   
   
       4 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 1  where the base socket comprises a socket recessed into the floor. 
   
   
       5 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 1  where the columnar supports are swaged. 
   
   
       6 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 2  where the columnar supports are swaged. 
   
   
       7 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 3  where the columnar supports are swaged. 
   
   
       8 . A multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 4  where the columnar supports are swaged. 
   
   
       9 . A kit to make a multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 1  comprising at least two planar members, at least two columnar supports, and at least three mounting cups. 
   
   
       10 . A kit to make a multi-planar knockdown table according to  claim 10  in which the columnar supports are swaged.
