Abstract
A vest including inflatable tubes or chambers which receive cool air from a blower box. The vest includes an outer surface and inner surface, the two surfaces joined to defined a multiplicity of tubes. The tubes carry jets which may vent cool air, received form a remote cool air blower box. The jets will ventilate the skin of the wearer both where it is exposed and where the skin is covered by the garment itself.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A system for cooling an individual, the system comprising;
a delivery device to transfer cooling to the individual; an air conditioning unit having a pressurized blower box and a heat exchanger; and a flexible tube for connecting the air conditioning unit to the delivery device.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the delivery device is a vest.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the delivery device is a helmet.
4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the delivery device is a comforter.
5 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the delivery device is a mummy bag.
6 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the delivery device is a space suit.
7 . A system for cooling at least one individual, the system comprising;
a delivery device to transfer cooling to the individual; an air conditioning unit having a pressurized blower box and a heat exchanger; at least one flexible tube for connecting the air conditioning unit to the delivery device; and a switching mechanism to select the amount of cooling delivered to the at least one individual.
8 . The device of claim 7 , wherein the switching mechanism is connected between a seat on the air conditioning unit
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the switching mechanism switches between an unrestricted airflow entering the delivery device; a restricted airflow entering the delivery device; or no air flow entering the delivery device.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the switching mechanism changes the amount of cooling delivered to the at least one individual via a slide over the seat.
11 . The system of claim 7 , wherein at least two individuals are cooled by the system; each individual having a delivery device connected to the air conditioning unit by a separate flexible tube; and each individual separately controlling cooling delivered via the delivery device using the switching mechanism.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
