Abstract

Disclosed is a photo album that has a slide show function to allow viewing of photos on a television receiver through a network. In a screen where both of a reception screen of a television and multiple application programs are displayed, if a predetermined application is selected, photos with a tag matched with a tag input by a user are searched from among photos with tags for search, and a plurality of photos are displayed in list or in a slide show manner. The applications are loaded from an external network.

1 . An information processing apparatus comprising:
 an acquisition unit acquiring image data stored in a predetermined server; and   a display control unit controlling display of an image based on image data acquired by the acquisition unit,   wherein the predetermined server manages image data in association with tags, and   the acquisition unit acquires image data, which is managed with the same tag as a set tag, at a predetermined interval.   
     
     
         2 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the acquisition unit acquires a plurality of image data, and   the display control unit controls display such that a plurality of images based on a plurality of image data are displayed on a single screen.   
     
     
         3 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the display control unit performs control such that the image is displayed beside a screen of a program of television broadcasting.   
     
     
         4 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the display control unit controls display such that the image is displayed differently in different modes, and   the modes are switched by a user's instruction.   
     
     
         5 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 5 ,
 wherein the display control unit controls display such that, in a first mode, a plurality of images are displayed with the same size, controls display such that, in a second mode, one image from among a plurality of images is displayed with a size larger than other images, and controls display such that, in a third mode, only one image from among a plurality of images is displayed.   
     
     
         6 . The information processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein, when the tag is not set, the acquisition unit acquires image data which is managed with the same tag as a default tag.   
     
     
         7 . An information processing method comprising the steps of:
 acquiring image data stored in a predetermined server; and   controlling display of an image based on the acquired image data,   wherein the predetermined server manages image data in association with tags, and   image data to be acquired is image data which is managed with the same tag as a set tag, and acquired at a predetermined interval.   
     
     
         8 . A computer-readable program that controls a processing comprising the steps of:
 acquiring image data stored in a predetermined server; and   controlling display of an image based on the acquired image data,   wherein the predetermined server manages image data in association with tags, and   image data to be acquired is image data which is managed with the same tag as a set tag, and acquired at a predetermined interval.
